The Seahawks continued to add to their defensive line depth on Tuesday, signing nose tackle Austin Faoliu following his participation at rookie minicamp as a tryout player.
Faoliu, who played at the University of Oregon, is coming off a standout season with the XFL's Seattle Sea Dragons, having been named to the All-XFL Team earlier this month. Faoliu previously was with the Dallas Cowboys, having signed with them as an undrafted free agent in 2021, spending most of his rookie season on the practice squad and appearing in one game.
Faoliu is the third defensive lineman signed by the Seahawks this week along with veteran defensive end Mario Edwards Jr. and nose tackle Forrest Merrill, who signed on Monday.
With Rookie Minicamp complete, the newest Seahawks joined the veterans on the field for Phase 2 of the offseason program.
