The Seahawks signed Ty Okada to their practice squad Friday, bringing the second-year safety back one day after he was waived from the 53-man roster.

Linebacker Ezekiel Turner was released from the practice squad to make room for Okada.

Okada, who signed with the Seahawks last year as an undrafted free agent out of Montana State, opened this season on the practice squad, then was signed to the 53-man roster last week when safety Rayshawn Jenkins went on injured reserve.

The Seahawks still have one open spot on their 53-man roster heading into the weekend.

The Seahawks participated in a practice on Thursday, October 24, 2024 in preparation for the team's upcoming Week 8 matchup vs. the Buffalo Bills.
