The Seahawks announced today plans to host a food drive at the team's Football Fest on Aug. 3rd at Lumen Field. In partnership with KING 5, Safeway and Northwest Harvest, fans attending the game are encouraged to bring non-perishable donation items to support the Home Team Summer campaign. The Home Team Summer campaign aims to highlight the increased rates of childhood hunger, especially following the discontinuation of pandemic-era SNAP emergency allotments and the expiration of the federal Child Tax Credit.
Lumen Field will have donation bins located outside the stadium, including in front of all entry gates, for fans to easily drop off their donations prior to entering the stadium. Gates will open at Noon for Club & main gates. Practice is at 1 pm.
