The Seahawks waived tight end Tyler Mabry on Monday, two days after he was signed off the practice squad ahead of Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Mabry, who has appeared in nine games for the Seahawks dating back to 2021, has been a regular on Seattle's practice squad, and could well end up back there if he clears waivers. Mabry was signed Saturday to provide tight end depth with Noah Fant and Brady Russell both out due to injuries.

With the move, the Seahawks currently have one open spot on their 53-man roster.
