The Seahawks waived Laviska Shenault Jr., on Monday, parting ways with the player who had been one of their two primary kick returners this season.
Shenault, who signed as a free agent this offseason, had 16 returns for 459 yards, including a 97-yard touchdown, as well as two fumbles lost on returns. Shenault also had five catches for 36 yards and one rush attempt for one yard.
The move leaves the Seahawks with an open spot on their 53-man roster.
