Byron Murphy II Active For Seahawks' Week 18 Game at Rams

Rookie defensive tackle Byron Murphy II is active after being listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Rams.

INGLEWOOD—The Seahawks will have rookie defensive tackle Byron Murphy II for Sunday's season finale against the Rams.

Murphy was listed as questionable on the injury report due to a back injury that kept him out of practice on Thursday and had him limited on Friday, but he his active for Sunday's game.

Also active is cornerback Artie Burns, who was signed off the practice squad on Saturday. He'll provide extra depth in the secondary with cornerback Josh Jobe going on injured reserve this week.

Among those inactive are three players added to the 53-man roster this week, receiver John Rhys Plumlee, tight end Tyler Mabry and nose tackle Brandon Pili, who was ruled out due to illness. Quarterback Jaren Hall is inactive but will dress as the emergency third quarterback.

Having clinched the NFC West, the Rams are resting several key starters on offense, so inactive for LA are quarterback Matthew Stafford, receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, running back Kyren Williams, right guard Kevin Dotson, left tackle Alaric Jackson, and right tackle Rob Havenstein, with only Havenstein (shoulder) out due to injury.
