This 12-team, Points Per Reception draft recap feature will help you navigate your own league drafts while providing a look at the strategical approaches of 10 fantasy football analysts and two former Seahawks players.

Our fantasy experts were joined by Seahawks Ring of Honor Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and Super Bowl XLVIII champion running back Robert Turbin. The 2005 NFC Champion passer and the current SiriusXM NFL Radio host are experienced fantasy football players.

I provide in-depth analysis of the mock draft from start to finish, along with a look at highlighted picks from Matt and Robert. Reviewing this draft will reflect how many fantasy and NFL analysts view and value players for the 2024 season, while also giving you a feel for the flow of a draft in every round.

Round One

  1. Nick Mariano: CeeDee Lamb WR | DAL
  2. Michael Florio: Christian McCaffrey RB | SF
  3. Dave Richard: Tyreek Hill WR | MIA
  4. Scott Engel: Breece Hall RB | NYJ
  5. Marcas Grant: Bijan Robinson RB | ATL
  6. Matt Hasselbeck: Justin Jefferson WR | MIN
  7. Jennifer Piacenti: Jonathan Taylor RB | IND
  8. Eric N. Moody: Ja'Marr Chase WR | CIN
  9. Tera Roberts: Amon-Ra St. Brown WR | DET
  10. Brandon Funston: A.J. Brown WR | PHI
  11. Robert Turbin: Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
  12. Lawrence Jackson Jr.: Jahmyr Gibbs RB | DET

Seahawks.com Fantasy Insider Analysis: The first five players to go off the board will all be drafted in the top half of the first round in many leagues. But every draft has its own unique patterns of picks, and the top 5 players taken in your draft may not be the same. Be ready for anything and adjust on the run, beginning in the first round.

Jefferson might be taken anywhere in the 6 to 10 range in the first round in a lot of drafts. St. Brown won't slip to the later part of the first round very often, so Tera Roberts may have come away with the best value pick of Round One. Jackson is not afraid to embrace an upside play, and he pushed Gibbs up the board to the final pick of the first round. Experienced drafters will not hesitate to go after their favorite targets earlier than Average Draft Position reports may indicate. Aggressive drafting can ensure that you get the player you want on the roster.

Round Two

  1. Lawrence Jackson Jr.: Isiah Pacheco RB | KC
  2. Robert Turbin: Marvin Harrison Jr. WR | ARI
  3. Brandon Funston: Garrett Wilson WR | NYJ
  4. Tera Roberts: Kyren Williams RB | LAR
  5. Eric N. Moody: Puka Nacua WR | LAR
  6. Jennifer Piacenti: Derrick Henry RB | BAL
  7. Matt Hasselbeck: Travis Etienne RB | JAC
  8. Marcas Grant: James Cook RB | BUF
  9. Scott Engel: De'Von Achane RB | MIA
  10. Dave Richard: Drake London WR | ATL
  11. Michael Florio: Brandon Aiyuk WR | SF
  12. Nick Mariano: Nico Collins WR | HOU

Analysis: Jackson elected to start out with two RBs, and several fantasy analysts are high on Pacheco this year as a three-down RB and goal line finisher for a top-notch offense. Brandon Funston started strong at WR with Brown and Wilson. Those who draft late in the first round and early in the second round can land two prime WRs to begin the roster build. It is an appealing approach in leagues where you have to start three WRs.

This round was evenly split between RB and WR picks, following the trend of the first round. Marcas Grant showed a lot of confidence in Cook, as he drafted the third-year Bill as the 11th overall RB. That pick was another case of an expert player drafting a guy he wanted earlier than others might take him. London is a popular breakout target, and it was notable that Dave Richard drafted him over Nico Collins.

Round Three

  1. Nick Mariano: Cooper Kupp WR | LAR
  2. Michael Florio: Davante Adams WR | LV
  3. Dave Richard: Chris Olave WR | NO
  4. Scott Engel: Mike Evans WR | TB
  5. Marcas Grant: DeVonta Smith WR | PHI
  6. Matt Hasselbeck: Rachaad White RB | TB
  7. Jennifer Piacenti: DK Metcalf WR | SEA
  8. Eric N. Moody: Alvin Kamara RB | NO
  9. Tera Roberts: Deebo Samuel WR | SF
  10. Brandon Funston: Josh Allen QB | BUF
  11. Robert Turbin: DJ Moore WR | CHI
  12. Lawrence Jackson Jr.: Amari Cooper WR | CLE

Analysis: Kupp has been shooting up on draft boards lately, as preseason reports have suggested that he is in good health with a positive outlook heading into the 2024 campaign. Adams, Olave, and Evans are still solid picks in the third round. Metcalf was the first Seahawks player to come off the board, and I certainly back the pick by Jennifer Piacenti. Ryan Grubb can really take advantage of Metcalf’s big-play abilities in his potent passing system.

Allen was the first quarterback taken in the mock draft, and he has finished as a top 2 player at the position in each of the last four seasons. Cooper posted a career-high 1,250 receiving yards last season. He will be taken after Round Three in many drafts, but I have no problem with targeting him sooner. The Browns' No. 1 WR should provide a solid statistical floor.

Round Four

  1. Lawrence Jackson Jr.: Jaylen Waddle WR | MIA
  2. Robert Turbin: Travis Kelce TE | KC
  3. Brandon Funston: Joe Mixon RB | HOU
  4. Tera Roberts: Michael Pittman WR | IND
  5. Eric N. Moody: Stefon Diggs WR | HOU
  6. Jennifer Piacenti: Mark Andrews TE | BAL
  7. Matt Hasselbeck: Sam LaPorta TE | DET
  8. Marcas Grant: James Conner RB | ARI
  9. Scott Engel: George Pickens WR | PIT
  10. Dave Richard: Josh Jacobs RB | GB
  11. Michael Florio: Malik Nabers WR | NYG
  12. Nick Mariano: Kenneth Walker III RB | SEA

Analysis: Three top TEs were taken in this round, as Robert Turbin made the first move at the position with his pick of Kelce. Mixon can be a quality source of TD production as he finishes off scoring drives for the ascending Houston offense. Moody showed continued faith in Diggs, as he will now be a Texan, and I was satisfied to land Pickens as a promising WR2 pick. The move to Green Bay can spark a Jacobs resurgence. He was the RB1 target for Dave, as he started off with three WRs.

Michael Florio took his shot on the exciting Giants rookie WR and should enjoy seeing Nabers roll up fantasy points as an instant impact performer. He was a luxury pick for Michael as a WR3. Nick Mariano finished off the fourth round by drafting Walker, who is being targeted as a top 15 fantasy RB in many drafts. He was Nick's first RB pick after he also opened the draft by taking three WRs in the first three rounds, mirroring Dave's approach. Marcas took a different early round path with three RB picks in the first four rounds.

Round Five

  1. Nick Mariano: Trey McBride TE | ARI
  2. Michael Florio: Calvin Ridley WR | TEN
  3. Dave Richard: Jalen Hurts QB | PHI
  4. Scott Engel: Dalton Kincaid TE | BUF
  5. Marcas Grant: Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
  6. Matt Hasselbeck: Zay Flowers WR | BAL
  7. Jennifer Piacenti: Rashee Rice WR | KC
  8. Eric N. Moody: Rhamondre Stevenson RB | NE
  9. Tera Roberts: Tee Higgins WR | CIN
  10. Brandon Funston: Chris Godwin WR | TB
  11. Robert Turbin: David Montgomery RB | DET
  12. Lawrence Jackson Jr.: Diontae Johnson WR | CAR

Analysis: Two more prime TEs went off the board, as Nick Mariano opened the round with his pick of Trey McBride, and I decided to move on Kincaid to round out the top 5 players taken at the position. The Buffalo TE is ticketed to be a No. 1 pass-catcher for Allen and is likely headed for a breakthrough year.

Rice and Higgins are two viable picks in this round. The Kansas City WR may become even more dependable for fantasy purposes in his second pro season, and Higgins is a strong bounce-back candidate. Robert obviously knows his RBs well, and Montgomery will continue to be a frequent TD threat for Detroit. Johnson can be a reliable fantasy producer as he fills a need for a No. 1 WR in Carolina.

Round Six

  1. Lawrence Jackson Jr.: Patrick Mahomes QB | KC
  2. Robert Turbin: Joe Burrow QB | CIN
  3. Brandon Funston: D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
  4. Tera Roberts: Raheem Mostert RB | MIA
  5. Eric N. Moody: Zamir White RB | LV
  6. Jennifer Piacenti: Terry McLaurin WR | WAS
  7. Matt Hasselbeck: Tank Dell WR | HOU
  8. Marcas Grant: Christian Kirk WR | JAC
  9. Scott Engel: Aaron Jones RB | MIN
  10. Dave Richard: George Kittle TE | SF
  11. Michael Florio: Anthony Richardson QB | IND
  12. Nick Mariano: Jayden Reed WR | GB

Analysis: Round Six started off with two QB picks, and Mahomes falling to this round is not a true reflection of where he should land in your draft. Fantasy and NFL analysts will often tend to wait longer than regular drafters on their No. 1 QB.

McLaurin might see a spike in production this year with Jayden Daniels injecting new life into the Washington offense. Jennifer was able to land McLaurin as a strong WR3. Aaron Jones still makes defenders miss and can run with power while showing off some breakaway ability. I was certainly content with being able to land him as a projected flex option.

Round Seven

  1. Nick Mariano: Kyler Murray QB | ARI
  2. Michael Florio: Kyle Pitts TE | ATL
  3. Dave Richard: Najee Harris RB | PIT
  4. Scott Engel: Jameson Williams WR | DET
  5. Marcas Grant: Jaylen Warren RB | PIT
  6. Matt Hasselbeck: C.J. Stroud QB | HOU
  7. Jennifer Piacenti: Dak Prescott QB | DAL
  8. Eric N. Moody: Evan Engram TE | JAC
  9. Tera Roberts: Tyjae Spears RB | TEN
  10. Brandon Funston: Jake Ferguson TE | DAL
  11. Robert Turbin: Keenan Allen WR | CHI
  12. Lawrence Jackson Jr: Khalil Shakir WR | BUF

Analysis: Murray is capable of outperforming his draft stock here, especially with Harrison as a top target who will make his presence felt right away. Pitts and Engram are at the back end of the top 7 TEs that I generally prefer to target. The former might be on the verge of a career year with Kirk Cousins and the latter finished second in overall fantasy points at TE in 2023.

Ferguson may finish near the top half of the fantasy TE1 field this year. Williams and Spears are two upside plays who can pay off well fantasy-wise as seventh rounders.

Round Eight

  1. Lawrence Jackson Jr.: Javonte Williams RB | DEN
  2. Robert Turbin: Keon Coleman WR | BUF
  3. Brandon Funston: Romeo Doubs WR | GB
  4. Tera Roberts: Jordan Love QB | GB
  5. Eric N. Moody: Christian Watson WR | GB
  6. Jennifer Piacenti: Nick Chubb RB | CLE
  7. Matt Hasselbeck: Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR | SEA
  8. Marcas Grant: Ladd McConkey WR | LAC
  9. Scott Engel: Brock Purdy QB | SF
  10. Dave Richard: Brian Robinson Jr. RB | WAS
  11. Michael Florio: Jonathon Brooks RB | CAR
  12. Nick Mariano: Tony Pollard RB | TEN

Analysis: Williams has seen his fantasy stock rise recently and won't drop to this round in too many drafts going forward. Matt Hasselbeck tabbed Smith-Njigba here, and the second-year Seahawk has been picked in Round Eight in several drafts I have participated in already. "JSN" could emerge as a productive fantasy flex option in 2024.

Three key Green Bay players were taken in this round with three consecutive picks, which I noticed with amusement while reviewing the draft. Love finished as fantasy QB5 last year and is a solid target by this round for those who patiently bide their time at QB. Pollard was the RB2 pick for Nick as he chose to wait on a second starter at the position.

Round Nine

  1. Nick Mariano: Rome Odunze WR | CHI
  2. Michael Florio: Austin Ekeler RB | WAS
  3. Dave Richard: Marquise Brown WR | KC
  4. Scott Engel: Xavier Worthy WR | KC
  5. Marcas Grant: DeAndre Hopkins WR | TEN
  6. Matt Hasselbeck: Courtland Sutton WR | DEN
  7. Jennifer Piacenti: Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE
  8. Eric N. Moody: Chase Brown RB | CIN
  9. Tera Roberts: Brock Bowers TE | LV
  10. Brandon Funston: Zack Moss RB | CIN
  11. Robert Turbin: Tyler Lockett WR | SEA
  12. Lawrence Jackson Jr.: David Njoku TE | CLE

Analysis: Worthy and Sutton are value targets by Round Nine. Brown is a promising RB who has the potential to score from anywhere on the field. Bowers and Njoku are quality TE picks in this round. A former Seahawk picks a current Seahawk as Turbin drafts Lockett at the end of the round.

Round 10

  1. Lawrence Jackson Jr.: Jayden Daniels QB | WAS
  2. Robert Turbin: J.K. Dobbins RB | LAC
  3. Brandon Funston: Devin Singletary RB | NYG
  4. Tera Roberts: Brian Thomas Jr. WR | JAC
  5. Eric N. Moody: Curtis Samuel WR | BUF
  6. Jennifer Piacenti: Gus Edwards RB | LAC
  7. Matt Hasselbeck: Jerome Ford RB | CLE
  8. Marcas Grant: Blake Corum RB | LAR
  9. Scott Engel: Rico Dowdle RB | DAL
  10. Dave Richard: Chuba Hubbard RB | CAR
  11. Michael Florio: Jahan Dotson WR | WAS
  12. Nick Mariano: Jakobi Meyers WR | LV

Analysis: By this point of the draft Daniels has significant fantasy appeal as a rookie because of his expected rushing production. The Singletary pick is worth spotlighting, as a projected starting NFL RB drops to the 10th round. Dowdle is one of my targeted sleepers, as I believe he will emerge as a good fantasy RB3 this season.

Round 11

  1. Nick Mariano: Mike Williams WR | NYJ
  2. Michael Florio: Ezekiel Elliott RB | DAL
  3. Dave Richard: Josh Palmer WR | LAC
  4. Scott Engel: Rashid Shaheed WR | NO
  5. Marcas Grant: Ja'Lynn Polk WR | NE
  6. Matt Hasselbeck: Bucky Irving RB | TB
  7. Jennifer Piacenti: DJ Chark WR | LAC
  8. Eric N. Moody: Demario Douglas WR | NE
  9. Tera Roberts: Trey Benson RB | ARI
  10. Brandon Funston: Jordan Addison WR | MIN
  11. Robert Turbin: Brandin Cooks WR | DAL
  12. Lawrence Jackson Jr.: Michael Wilson WR | ARI

Analysis: A healthy Williams can provide a nice fantasy return for a pick in the double-digit rounds. Palmer and Shaheed are respectable depth targets at WR. Hasselbeck made sure to draft the fantasy RB insurance pick behind Rachaad White here.

Round 12

  1. Lawrence Jackson Jr.: Dontayvion Wicks WR | GB
  2. Robert Turbin: Khalil Herbert RB | CHI
  3. Brandon Funston: Zach Charbonnet RB | SEA
  4. Tera Roberts: Darnell Mooney WR | ATL
  5. Eric N. Moody: Aaron Rodgers QB | NYJ
  6. Jennifer Piacenti: Dallas Goedert TE | PHI
  7. Matt Hasselbeck: Adonai Mitchell WR | IND
  8. Marcas Grant: Pat Freiermuth TE | PIT
  9. Scott Engel: Jaylen Wright RB | MIA
  10. Dave Richard: Ty Chandler RB | MIN
  11. Michael Florio: Jaleel McLaughlin RB | DEN
  12. Nick Mariano: Antonio Gibson RB | NE

Analysis: Wicks is a widely favored later-round target. Charbonnet went off the board in this round and may prove to be useful as a bye week or injury fill-in. Wright could deliver spike weeks if pressed into more action for Miami at any time. McLaughlin is another later-round type that is on the radar of fantasy analysts.

Round 13

  1. Nick Mariano: Jonnu Smith TE | MIA
  2. Michael Florio: Ray Davis RB | BUF
  3. Dave Richard: Caleb Williams QB | CHI
  4. Scott Engel: Rashod Bateman WR | BAL
  5. Marcas Grant: Tyler Allgeier RB | ATL
  6. Matt Hasselbeck: Roman Wilson WR | PIT
  7. Jennifer Piacenti: Brandon Aubrey K | DAL
  8. Eric N. Moody: Kendre Miller RB | NO
  9. Tera Roberts: T.J. Hockenson TE | MIN
  10. Brandon Funston: Jalen McMillan WR | TB
  11. Robert Turbin: Dalton Schultz TE | HOU
  12. Lawrence Jackson Jr.: Noah Fant TE | SEA

Analysis: Smith and Fant are two deeper TE plays who are capable of outperforming some preseason fantasy projections. Davis is stirring some fantasy buzz as an eventual goal-line option for Buffalo this season.

Round 14

  1. Lawrence Jackson Jr.: Justin Tucker K | BAL
  2. Robert Turbin: Tua Tagovailoa QB | MIA
  3. Brandon Funston: Tyrone Tracy Jr. RB | NYG
  4. Tera Roberts: Demarcus Robinson WR | LAR
  5. Eric N. Moody: Jared Goff QB | DET
  6. Jennifer Piacenti: Ravens DST | BAL
  7. Matt Hasselbeck: Cole Kmet TE | CHI
  8. Marcas Grant: Greg Dortch WR | ARI
  9. Scott Engel: Cowboys DST | DAL
  10. Dave Richard: MarShawn Lloyd RB | GB
  11. Michael Florio: Jermaine Burton WR | CIN
  12. Nick Mariano: Jets DST | NYJ

Analysis: Goff and Tagovailoa being drafted this late further illustrates how fantasy analysts will let top 15 QBs tumble down the board. It should also be pointed out that they were drafted a round after Caleb Williams. We waded deep into sleeper territory at the skill positions with WRs such as Dortch and Burton going off the board.

Round 15

  1. Nick Mariano: Harrison Butker K | KC
  2. Michael Florio: 49ers DST | SF
  3. Dave Richard: Browns DST | CLE
  4. Scott Engel: Braelon Allen RB | NYJ
  5. Marcas Grant: Eagles DST | PHI
  6. Matt Hasselbeck: Seahawks DST | SEA
  7. Jennifer Piacenti: Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB | KC
  8. Eric N. Moody: Younghoe Koo K | ATL
  9. Tera Roberts: Jason Sanders K | MIA
  10. Brandon Funston: Ka'imi Fairbairn K | HOU
  11. Robert Turbin: Jake Elliott K | PHI
  12. Lawrence Jackson Jr.: AJ Dillon RB | GB

Analysis: I always recommend drafting defenses based on early matchups on the NFL schedule, rather than taking units based on overall rankings. That is why Hasselbeck's pick of the Seahawks defense in this round is highlighted for this round. The Hawks open the 2024 season with favorable matchups against the Broncos and Patriots. The depth on the defensive line and in the secondary will also boost the overall appeal of the Seahawks defense in fantasy football this season.

Round 16

  1. Lawrence Jackson Jr.: Bills DST | BUF
  2. Robert Turbin: Steelers DST | PIT
  3. Brandon Funston: Texans DST | HOU
  4. Tera Roberts: Chiefs DST | KC
  5. Eric N. Moody: Dolphins DST | MIA
  6. Jennifer Piacenti: Kenneth Gainwell RB | PHI
  7. Matt Hasselbeck: Tyler Bass K | BUF
  8. Marcas Grant: Evan McPherson K | CIN
  9. Scott Engel: Jake Moody K | SF
  10. Dave Richard: Cameron Dicker K | LAC
  11. Michael Florio: Matt Prater K | ARI
  12. Nick Mariano: Audric Estime RB | DEN

Fantasy Football Mock Draft At A Glance: Matt Hasselbeck's Team

Matt moved to take two RBs (Etienne and White) after drafting Jefferson to lead his WR group. The LaPorta pick in the fourth round was as good as taking a WR there when you consider he is a top-level player at the thinnest position in fantasy football. Stroud was a quality pick in the seventh round, as Matt nabbed a top 5 range QB after addressing the other skill positions in the first six rounds. Smith-Njigba, Sutton, and Ford were solid value picks in Rounds 8 through 10.

Robert Turbin's Mock Draft Recap

After starting his draft off with Saquon Barkley, Robert aimed for three consecutive pass-catchers (Harrison. Moore Kelce). The Arizona rookie has immediate fantasy WR1 potential, and Kelce remains atop his position as a standout pick. This team has three anchor skill position players in Barkley, Harrison, and Kelce.

Waiting until Round Five for a second RB, Robert aimed for healthy TD production with Montgomery. The fantasy output of Keon Coleman (Round Eight) may rise as the regular season progresses. The Burrow pick in Round Six made sense, yet it would be interesting to see if Tagovailoa (Round 14) can produce well enough to consider utilizing the two QBs as streaming options.

The Seahawks held another practice on August 22, 2024 to prepare for their upcoming preseason finale against the Cleveland Browns at Lumen Field.
