Two straight starts, two straight Ground Player of the Week nominations for Kenneth Walker III. After rushing for 168 yards and two touchdowns during Week 7 vs. the Chargers, the rookie is yet again in consideration for the weekly award, which fans can vote for below.

While tonight's Monday Night Football game (the Patriots host the Bears) remains to be played, Walker's 168 yards leads all rushers for Week 7. The rookie back didn't just impress with gaudy counting stats. On his 74-yard touchdown run, Walker reached a top speed of 22.09 MPH, the fastest ball carrier in the NFL this season. Tariq Woolen (21.58 MPH, 4th in NFL) and Rashaad Penny (21.44 MPH, 8th in NFL) are also in the Top 10.

The league-wide recognition just continues to roll in for the 4-3 Seahawks, who now sit in first place in the NFC West. This is the fourth straight week a Seahawks player has been nominated for an Air or Ground Player of the Week award:

There have also been Player of the Week honors on both sides of the ball for the Seahawks through the first six weeks:
