FOXBOROUGH—Running back Kenneth Walker III and right tackle George Fant are inactive for the Seahawks' Week 2 game against the Patriots after both were listed as doubtful on Friday's injury report.
The Seahawks will, however, have starting linebackers Tyrel Dodson and Jerome Baker, who were both questionable on the injury report.
Walker and Fant both suffered injuries in Seattle's Week 1 win over the Broncos, with Fant exiting with a knee injury in the first quarter and Walker injuring his oblique late in the game. Zach Charbonnet, who started two games as a rookie, is expected to get the start in place of Walker, while Stone Forsythe will replace Fant at right tackle.
Also out due to injury are outside linebacker Uchenna Nwosu and tight end Pharaoh Brown, both of whom also missed last week's game.
With Walker and Fant unable to play, the Seahawks elevated running back George Holani and tackle McClendon Curtis from the practice squad to add depth at their respective positions. Sunday will mark the NFL debut for Holani, an undrafted rookie out of Boise State.
In a change from last week, rookie center Jalen Sundell is active as the backup to Connor Williams, while Olu Oluwatimi is inactive.
