Friday Injury Report

There are six players listed with game status designations on Friday's injury report including two players who are ruled out. Linebacker Uchenna Nwosu and tight end Pharoah Brown will not be available for Sunday's matchup at the Patriots due to injuries. Nwosu suffered a knee injury in the preseason finale and has not been able to practice since, so he will miss his second consecutive game to start the season. Pharaoh Brown has been dealing with a foot injury since training camp that prevented him from making his Seahawks' debut in Week 1. He has been working hard to make it back in time to face his former team but will not play on Sunday.

Kenneth Walker III and George Fant are listed as doubtful to play on Sunday. Walker had a strong performance in his season debut, carrying the ball 20 times for 103 yards and a touchdown but exited the game late with an oblique injury. The third year back said he felt fine immediately following the win over the Broncos but was unable to practice this week. Fant injured his knee in the season opener against the Broncos and was unable to return to the game. After not practicing all week, the nine-year veteran is doubtful for the first road game of the season.

Both starting inside linebackers from Week 1 are questionable as Jerome Baker and Tyrel Dodson have been battling injuries. Dodson missed the first practice of the week with a shoulder injury but was able to return in a limited capacity on Thursday and fully practice on Friday. Baker was limited in each of the three practices this week with a hamstring injury.

The Patriots have ruled one player out and listed four more as questionable for Sunday. Guard Sidy Sow is the lone Patriot to be ruled out as he missed practice all week with an ankle injury. Safety Kyle Dugger is questionable due to an ankle injury that limited him in practice all week.

Thursday Injury Report

The Seahawks practiced without four players on Thursday afternoon due to injury. Three of the four players to miss practice also missed practice on Wednesday afternoon, including running back Kenneth Walker III. Walker is still dealing with an oblique injury that he suffered in the win over the Broncos in Week 1. If Walker is unable to suit up on Sunday, Zach Charbonnet would be expected to step in his place.

After being limited on Wednesday, tight end Pharaoh Brown was held out on Thursday. Brown is working his way back from a foot injury with the hopes of making his Seahawks' debut against his former team, the New England Patriots. Tackle George Fant exited the Week 1 win vs. the Broncos with a knee injury and was not able to return. After missing practice on Wednesday, Fant was unable to practice again on Thursday.

Linebacker Tyrel Dodson, who is coming off a strong performance in his Seahawks' debut, missed the first practice of the week with a shoulder injury but was able to make it back on Thursday in a limited capacity. Also limited on Thursday were cornerbacks Riq Woolen and Tre Brown, linebackers Jerome Baker and Dre'Mont Jones, and wide receiver Tyler Lockett.

Tight end Noah Fant had been limited in recent practices with a toe injury but was able to full practice on Thursday.

The Patriots had nine players limited on Thursday after having eight players limited in practice on Wednesday. Among the players limited are safeties Kyle Dugger and Jabrill Peppers. Both players are dealing with lower body injuries. The only player to miss practice was guard Sidy Sow who also missed Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury.

Wednesday Injury Report

The Seahawks released their injury report as they begin their preparation for the second week of the season and had four players miss practice. After missing every practice last week, Uchenna Nwosu missed the first practice of this week due to injury. Nwosu will have to wait at least one more week to make his season debut as head coach Mike Macdonald said the veteran linebacker will be out this week during Wednesday's press conference. "Chenna will be out this week, but the rest of the guys coming off of last week's game, we'll kind of take day-by-day here with the reports and everything, but 'Chenna will be out," said Macdonald prior to practice.

The other three players that missed practice on Wednesday were running back Kenneth Walker III, tackle George Fant and linebacker Tyrel Dodson. Walker is coming off a huge game where he ran for over 100 yards and a rushing touchdown but got banged up towards the end of the win over the Broncos. Despite that, Walker was confident that he was okay right after the game, stating that he's "Good" in his postgame press conference.

Tackle George Fant left Sunday's win over the Broncos with a knee injury and was unable to return. Tackle Stone Forsythe stepped in and finished the game for the nine-year veteran. The final player to miss the first practice of the week was linebacker Tyrel Dodson who is dealing with a shoulder injury. Dodson had been dealing with injuries throughout the offseason but made a big impact in his Seahawks' debut, totaling 10 tackles, a tackle for loss and a pass defensed.

The team also had seven players limited in the first practice of the week, all due to injury. Three starters on the defensive side of the ball, Riq Woolen, Jerome Baker and Dre'Mont Jones, were limited with hamstring issues. Jones was limited in the first two practices last week but was able to play Week 1. Wide receiver Tyler Lockett and tight end Noah Fant were also limited in Wednesday's practice which was the case last week. Despite being limited in two practices last week, both players played on Sunday and made an impact on offense.

Tight end Pharaoh Brown is doing everything he can to make it back in time to face his former team this week. "Pharaoh, with the connection to New England, he really wants to play," Macdonald said. "So we'll see where Pharaoh ends up by the end of the week." Brown missed the season debut, but it is a positive sign that he returned to practice in a limited capacity to start this week.

The two guards who started for Seattle last week, Laken Tomlinson and Anthony Bradford, were full participants in practice despite dealing with lower body injuries.

The New England Patriots also had a number of players limited to start the week as they had eight players work in limited capacity. Two key players on offense, center David Andrews and running back Rhamondre Stevenson were limited for resting purposes. The only player to miss practice for them was guard Sidy Sow.
