Friday Injury Report

The Seahawks go into Week 13 healthier than most weeks as only four players were given game status designations this week as tight end Brady Russell and safety AJ Finley are listed as questionable. Russell has missed the previous two games with a foot injury but was able to participate in two of the three practices this week. Finley, who was claimed off waivers from the L.A. Chargers earlier this week, missed the first practice of the week but was able to return in a limited capacity on Thursday and fully participated on Friday afternoon. Linebacker Uchenna Nwosu and tackle Stone Forsythe returned to practice this week after being placed on injured reserve earlier this season but have been ruled out for Sunday.

After not practicing on Wednesday and Thursday, wide receivers DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett fully participated on Friday and are not on the game status report so they will be available to play on Sunday. Linebacker Ernest Jones IV was added to the injury report as a limited participant on Thursday afternoon with an elbow/knee but fully practiced on Friday and will play on Sunday. Tight end Noah Fant will return to the lineup this week after missing the past three games. Fant had been dealing with a groin injury for the past month but was able to fully participate in each of the three practices this week so he will be good to go.

The New York Jets have ruled one player out and five players as questionable for Week 13. Left tackle Tyron Smith is the one player ruled out as he did not practice all week because of a neck injury. Among the players listed as questionable are running back Breece Hall and linebacker C.J. Mosely. Hall missed the first practice of the week but was able to get limited work in on Thursday and fully participate on Friday.

Thursday Injury Report

The Seahawks held a practice on Thanksgiving Day and were missing six players, five due to injury and one for resting purposes. Wide receivers DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett sat out for the second consecutive day as they are dealing with injuries. Metcalf has a shoulder injury and Lockett is dealing with a knee issue but their status for Sunday is still unknown at this point.

Leonard Williams did not practice again because of the foot injury that he has been playing through in recent weeks. Williams said that the injury has affected his weekly preparation but has not prevented him from playing at a high level on gamedays as he is coming off of a dominant 2.5 sack performance in the win over the Cardinals.

Tight end Brady Russell did not practice on Thursday after returning to practice in a limited capacity on Wednesday. Russell has not played in the previous two games because of a foot injury. Right tackle Abraham Lucas sat out on Thursday after fully participating in Wednesday's practice. Lucas made his season debut two weeks ago in the win over the 49ers after missing the first nine games of the season. Linebacker Ernest Jones IV was added to the injury report on Thursday after not being listed on Wednesday. Jones is listed with an elbow/knee injury.

Linebacker Uchenna Nwosu and tackle Stone Forysthe practiced for the second straight day after being designated to return to practice from injured reserve on Wednesday. Nwosu was injured to begin the season, forcing him to miss the first four games. His return to the field was brief as he suffered a thigh injury in his first game of the season in Week 5 and was placed on injured reserve afterwards. Forsythe stepped in for the injured Lucas and George Fant at right tackle before suffering a hand injury.

The Jets only had one player who did not participate on Thursday as the other three players who missed practice on Wednesday returned in some capacity. Left tackle Tyron Smith sat out practice again as he is dealing with a neck injury. Running back Breece Hall returned to practice as a limited participant after missing the first practice of the week due to a knee injury.

Wednesday Injury Report

The Seahawks held their first practice of the week on Wednesday afternoon and were missing five players, four due to injury and one for resting purposes. Two of the team's three leading receivers, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, sat out on Wednesday because of a shoulder and knee injury respectively. Both players were able to fully play in the win over the Cardinals last week.

Defensive lineman Leonard Williams, who is coming off what he considers his best game as a Seahawk last week, was unable to practice because of a foot injury that has placed him on the injury report in recent weeks. Despite the foot injury, Williams has played in every game this season. Nose tackle Jarran Reed was the one Seahawk to get the day off for resting purposes. Safety AJ Finley, who was claimed off of waivers on Tuesday, was held out of Wednesday's practice because of an ankle injury.

Two players who had spent recent weeks on injured reserve, Uchenna Nwosu and Stone Forsythe, were designated to return to practice this week and both players were able to participate in some capacity. Nwosu has only played in one game this season because of knee and thigh injuries but is making progress towards returning to game action. "This is a ramp portion. Today he'll be limited, and we'll go from there," said head coach Mike Macdonald prior to Wednesday's practice. While Nwosu was limited, Forsythe returned to practice as a full participant after being placed on injured reserve last month with a hand injury. Tight end Brady Russell returned to practice as a limited participant after missing the past two games due to a foot injury.

The Jets were missing four players for Wednesday's practice as two players were dealing with injuries, one with an illness and another for personal reasons. Running back Breece Hall (knee) and left tackle Tyron Smith (neck) were the two players to sit out because of injuries. Three players were listed as full participants including former Seahawks cornerback D.J. Reed who is dealing with a back injury.
