Wednesday Injury Report

The Seahawks began their week of preparation for Week 15 on Wednesday and were missing nine players from practice but six of the nine were given NIR-rest designations. Running back Kenneth Walker III remained out of practice as he is dealing with a calf injury that he sustained in the Week 13 win over the Jets and his status for Sunday is still unknown. "He's still day-to-day right now," said head coach Mike Macdonald prior to practice on Wednesday. "It got more kind of complicated as the week went on, so that's why we had to do some more tests and stuff, but right now there's positive signs. So, we'll just say day-to-day I think is fair, but it's not long term." Zach Charbonnet stepped in for the injured Walker last week and put together a career best performance and was awarded the Ground Player of the Week.

Defensive backs Jerrick Reed II and Tre Brown did not practice as they are dealing with lower body injuries. Brown was a late addition to the game status report last week because of a hamstring injury that prevented him from playing in Arizona. Both Leonard Williams and Ernest Jones IV sat out Wednesday's practice and are listed with injury/NIR-rest designations to start the week. They have been listed with these injuries in recent weeks but have not missed any game action because of it. Four veterans, Laken Tomlinson, Tyler Lockett, Jarran Reed and Boye Mafe sat out for resting purposes.

Punter Michael Dickson and tight end Brady Russell were the only players who were limited to begin the week as they are dealing with injuries. Dickson suffered a back injury two weeks ago against the Jets and was limited in practice last week but was able to play in Arizona. Russell missed Weeks 11 and 12 with a foot injury but has been active in the last two games.

Cornerback Artie Burns and safety K'Von Wallace were designated to return to practice on Wednesday morning after spending time on injured reserve. Burns has only played in one game this season, the Week 6 matchup vs. the 49ers, because of a toe injury. Wallace played in the first nine games of the season before suffering an ankle injury in Week 9 vs. the Rams.

The Packers practiced on Wednesday and were only missing one player, safety Javon Bullard. Six players were limited including four players on the defensive side of the ball. All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander has not played since Week 11 but was able to practice in a full capacity on Wednesday.
