Friday Injury Report

The Seahawks have ruled out four players and listed three as doubtful for Sunday's primetime matchup vs. the Green Bay Packers. Defensive backs Tre Brown, Jerrick Reed II and K'Von Wallace will not suit up against the Packers as they are dealing with lower body injuries. Brown and Reed did not practice at all this week because of hamstring and quad injuries respectively. Wallace was designated to return to practice this week after missing four games and was able to fully participate in each of the three practices but still needs more time before returning to game action.

Similarly, tackle Stone Forsythe returned to practice recently after spending time on injured reserve and is doubtful to play against the Packers. Brady Russell has been ruled out due to a foot injury that forced him to miss two games last month. He was able to be active in the previous two games but suffered a setback that will prevent him from playing this week.

Running back Kenneth Walker III is doubtful to play on Sunday night as he is still recovering from a calf injury he suffered two weeks ago. Walker had missed two games earlier in the season with an oblique injury and is now in danger of missing another with a different injury. "He hasn't practiced yet, so we have listed him as doubtful. That's probably the best way to explain it," said head coach Mike Macdonald after practice on Friday afternoon. "Anything can happen between now and the game, but I'd say doubtful right now." Despite being listed as doubtful, Macdonald said Walker is making progress in his recovery.

Cornerback Artie Burns is doubtful to play as he recently returned to practice after missing the majority of the season with a toe injury. Burns has only played in one game this season, the Week 6 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

The Packers ruled three players out for Sunday night including cornerback Jaire Alexander. Alexander practiced on Wednesday and Thursday but was unavailable on Friday so he will miss his fourth straight game. Also ruled out were safety Javon Bullard and tight end Luke Musgrave. Cornerback Corey Ballentine is one Packer listed as questionable.

Thursday Injury Report

The Seahawks practiced on Thursday afternoon and were missing six players, four due to injury and two for resting purposes. Kenneth Walker III remained out of practice because of the calf injury that has been affecting him since the Week 13 win vs. the Jets. Walker has not practiced since last Wednesday and did not play against the Cardinals in Week 14, so his status for Sunday night remains unclear. Defensive backs Tre Brown and Jerrick Reed II sat out for the second straight day due to lower body injuries. After being limited in Wednesday's practice, Brady Russell sat out on Thursday because of a foot injury that forced him to miss two games last month.

After sitting out practice on Wednesday, Leonard Williams and Ernest Jones IV returned to practice in a limited capacity today. The third player who was limited today was wide receiver DK Metcalf who is dealing with a shoulder injury. Metcalf has been on the injury report in recent weeks with the shoulder injury, but it hasn't forced him to miss any games.

Defensive backs Artie Burns and K'Von Wallace were designated to return to practice yesterday and were able to fully participate in both practices this week which is a positive sign that they are getting closer to being able to suit up on gameday. Michael Dickson was able to fully participate on Thursday after being limited with his back injury in the first practice of the week.

The Packers were only missing one player in practice for the second consecutive day as safety Javon Bullard was unable to participate due to an ankle injury. Cornerback Jaire Alexander was a full participant in both practices this week so he could play for the first time since Week 11.

Wednesday Injury Report

The Seahawks began their week of preparation for Week 15 on Wednesday and were missing nine players from practice but six of the nine were given NIR-rest designations. Running back Kenneth Walker III remained out of practice as he is dealing with a calf injury that he sustained in the Week 13 win over the Jets and his status for Sunday is still unknown. "He's still day-to-day right now," said head coach Mike Macdonald prior to practice on Wednesday. "It got more kind of complicated as the week went on, so that's why we had to do some more tests and stuff, but right now there's positive signs. So, we'll just say day-to-day I think is fair, but it's not long term." Zach Charbonnet stepped in for the injured Walker last week and put together a career best performance and was awarded the Ground Player of the Week.

Defensive backs Jerrick Reed II and Tre Brown did not practice as they are dealing with lower body injuries. Brown was a late addition to the game status report last week because of a hamstring injury that prevented him from playing in Arizona. Both Leonard Williams and Ernest Jones IV sat out Wednesday's practice and are listed with injury/NIR-rest designations to start the week. They have been listed with these injuries in recent weeks but have not missed any game action because of it. Four veterans, Laken Tomlinson, Tyler Lockett, Jarran Reed and Boye Mafe sat out for resting purposes.

Punter Michael Dickson and tight end Brady Russell were the only players who were limited to begin the week as they are dealing with injuries. Dickson suffered a back injury two weeks ago against the Jets and was limited in practice last week but was able to play in Arizona. Russell missed Weeks 11 and 12 with a foot injury but has been active in the last two games.

Cornerback Artie Burns and safety K'Von Wallace were designated to return to practice on Wednesday morning after spending time on injured reserve. Burns has only played in one game this season, the Week 6 matchup vs. the 49ers, because of a toe injury. Wallace played in the first nine games of the season before suffering an ankle injury in Week 9 vs. the Rams.

The Packers practiced on Wednesday and were only missing one player, safety Javon Bullard. Six players were limited including four players on the defensive side of the ball. All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander has not played since Week 11 but was able to practice in a full capacity on Wednesday.
