Wednesday Injury Report

Three players have been ruled out ahead of Thursday night's game against the Chicago Bears, including running back Kenneth Walker III. Walker injured his ankle in the fourth quarter of last week's game vs. the Minnesota Vikings and was unable to return to the game. After not participating all week and given the quick turnaround, Walker will miss his fifth game of the season.

Despite Kenneth Walker III being out, the team's second leading rusher, Zach Charbonnet, will be active after seeing limited action in Week 16 and was dealing with an elbow injury this week. Charbonnet was listed as limited in Monday's estimated injury report with the injury but was a full participant in the past two days.

Tight end Brady Russell and safety K'Von Wallace will also sit out Thursday's road matchup due to injuries. Russell has been dealing with a foot injury for most of the second half of the season and will miss his third straight game and his fifth of the season. Wallace has been a full participant in practice since returning to practice from injured reserve earlier this month but will not return to game action this week.

The Bears ruled four players out for Thursday and listed three players as questionable. Tackle Teven Jenkins will not play this week after not practicing all week due to a calf injury. Also ruled out was former Seahawk and Bears running back/special teamer Travis Homer who is dealing with a hamstring.

Tuesday Injury Report

The Seahawks held a walkthrough on Tuesday afternoon as they prepare for their Thursday Night Football matchup vs. the Bears and released an estimated injury report had the team fully practiced. Only two players, Kenneth Walker III and Brady Russell, were listed as non-participants. Walker did not participate for the second consecutive day due to an ankle injury he sustained in the fourth quarter of last week's game. The team won't know his status for Thursday until tomorrow's injury report. Russell was unable to participate again because of the foot injury that has forced him to miss the previous two games as well as two games in November.

Three players were limited in today's walkthrough, but they were for resting purposes as Abraham Lucas, Ernest Jones IV and Leonard Williams were given limited work. The five players that were limited on Monday's estimated report returned as full participants today, including running back Zach Charbonnet. Linebackers Derick Hall and Uchenna Nwosu were also limited to start the week but were able to full participate in Tuesday's walkthrough.

The Bears held a walkthrough on Tuesday afternoon and were missing five players, four due to injury and one for resting purposes. Offensive lineman Tevin Jenkins was among the four players who were unable to participate for the second consecutive day as he is dealing with a calf injury. Defensive tackle Gervon Dexter Sr. returned to practice in a limited capacity after sitting out Monday with a knee injury.

Monday Injury Report

The Seahawks did not practice today as they were given the day off to recover from Sunday's loss to the Vikings but released an estimated injury report had the team participated today. Five players were listed as non-participants, two due to injury and three for resting purposes. Kenneth Walker III would not have been able to participate today because of an ankle injury that he sustained in Sunday's loss to the Vikings. Walker has been battling an ankle and calf injury in recent weeks and was forced to miss two games because of his injuries. He returned to game action on Sunday but had to exit the game in the fourth quarter and was not able to return. "There are no updates right now on him but he's getting the tests done," said head coach Mike Macdonald in Monday's press conference. "We'll have a good idea on what it looks like over the next day or two."

Tight end Brady Russell remains out due to a foot injury that has kept him from playing in four games this season. Russell sat out two games in November and the last two after re-injuring his foot. Three players, Abraham Lucas, Ernest Jones IV, and Leonard Williams were given injury/NIR-rest designations which has been a common occurrence in recent weeks, but they have been able to play in every game.

Five players would have been limited participants due to injuries on Monday. Zach Charbonnet, who was listed with an oblique injury last week, saw limited snaps in Week 16 and is now listed with an elbow injury. When asked about Charbonnet on Monday afternoon, head coach Macdonald was confident that he will be okay. "It seemed like he was limited during the game, but signs are positive with Zach right now." Linebackers Derick Hall and Uchenna Nwosu are listed with shoulder and wrist injuries respectively. Two starters on the offensive side of the ball, Noah Fant and Olu Oluwatimi, would have been limited with knee injuries.

Safety K'Von Wallace is the lone Seahawk who was listed as a full participant. Wallace was designated to return from practice earlier this month after spending four weeks on injured reserve but has yet to be activated for gameday since returning.
