Friday Injury Report
The Seahawks have ruled one player out and listed two more as questionable for Sunday's contest vs. the Arizona Cardinals. Tight end Brady Russell is the one Seahawks player who will not play on Sunday as he has been dealing with a foot injury that has prevented him from practicing in recent weeks. It will be the second consecutive game that Russell will miss. "He got hurt in practice and so he has been out a couple of weeks," said head coach Mike Macdonald when asked about Russell on Friday. "Obviously, he's out this game, so hopefully we'll get him back next week."
The two players that are questionable are tight end Noah Fant and wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. Fant had missed the previous two games with a groin injury but was able to return to practice as a limited participant on Thursday afternoon and fully participated on Friday. "Noah (Fant) is questionable right now," said coach Macdonald. "Optimistic I'd say right now, but we're still working through how much if he can, all that type of stuff. We won't take it to the game, we'll know tomorrow officially." Shenault Jr. was forced to leave the Seahawks' win over the 49ers last week with an injury and was unable to practice in any capacity for the first two practices of the week but fully participated in Friday's practice.
Despite not practicing on Wednesday or Thursday, defensive lineman Leonard Williams will be available on Sunday as he is not listed with a game status designation. Right tackle Abraham Lucas sat out practice on Thursday afternoon after making his season debut last week but returned to practice on Friday and will start this week as he is not on the game status report.
Safety Rayshawn Jenkins was not given a game status designation so he could be available to play on Sunday as coach Macdonald said that the team plans to activate him from injured reserve tomorrow. "I think we are activating him tomorrow and he will play in the game. He looks good," said coach Macdonald. Jenkins hasn't played since the Week 6 loss to the 49ers.
The only Arizona Cardinal that has been ruled out is safety Jalen Thompson who was unable to practice all week due to an ankle injury. The team listed three players as questionable including rookie first round pick Darius Robinson who has yet to make his NFL debut because of a calf injury suffered in training camp.

Thursday Injury Report
The Seahawks practiced on Thursday afternoon and were missing four players due to injury. Leonard Williams, Brady Russell and Laviska Shenault Jr. were unable to practice for the second straight day as they are dealing with injuries. Williams was listed on the injury report last week with the same foot injury but was able to play in the win over the 49ers. Right tackle Abraham Lucas, who made his season debut last week, was a full participant in the first practice of the week but did not get any work in on Thursday afternoon because of the knee injury.
After missing practice on Wednesday, tight end Noah Fant and kick returner Dee Williams returned to practice in a limited capacity. Fant has been out since the Week 9 loss to the Rams but practiced for the first time today since being injured a few weeks ago. His status for Sunday is unknown, but he is making progress in returning to game action. Williams left the win over the 49ers with an ankle injury and is considered day-to-day.
The four veterans that were given the day off on Wednesday returned to practice on Thursday as full participants. Safety Rayshawn Jenkins practiced as a full participant for the second consecutive day as he is working his way back from a hand injury that placed him on injured reserve and forced him to miss the previous four games.
The Cardinals were missing two players from practice for the second consecutive day including safety Jalen Thompson who is dealing with an ankle injury. Rookie cornerback Max Melton sat out practice today due to an illness.

Wednesday Injury Report
The Seahawks held their first practice of the week on Wednesday afternoon and were missing nine players, but four of them were given the day off for resting purposes. Tight ends Noah Fant and Brady Russell continue to miss practice as they haven't practiced since before the bye week due to injuries. Fant has been dealing with a groin issue that has forced him to miss each of the previous two games while Russell is suffering from a foot injury that kept him out of the Week 11 win at San Francisco.
The team's two kick returners, wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. and cornerback Dee Williams exited the win over the 49ers with an oblique and ankle injury respectively. Neither player is expected to miss a significant amount of time but their status for Sunday is unknown. "We're taking it day-to-day right now, but I think we should have him practicing in the next couple of days," said head coach Mike Macdonald when asked about Shenault. Williams is also considered-day-to-day as he works his way back to the practice field.
Safety Rayshawn Jenkins returned to practice today in a full capacity as he has been unavailable since being placed on injured reserve last month. Jenkins started each of the first six games before injuring his hand and has missed the last four games. "Yeah, he looks good. He's in good spirits," said coach Macdonald. "Just adding another great player to our guys and kind of getting back in the mix with how we're going to be able to utilize those safeties. It's exciting times to see how the week will shake out." It's unclear if Jenkins will be ready for Sunday but he's starting to get back in the mix and is expected to return sooner rather than later.
Right tackle Abraham Lucas was a full participant today which is a good sign that he made it out of his season debut last week without any setbacks. Lucas had missed the first nine games of the season and the majority of last season with a knee injury but was able to return in time to start in the win over the 49ers last week.
The Cardinals practiced without two players, one for injury and the other for rest, on Wednesday afternoon. Tackle Kelvin Beachum was given the day off while safety Jalen Thompson sat out due to an ankle injury. The team's first round pick, defensive lineman Darius Robinson, was a limited participant as he has yet to make his NFL debut due to a calf injury suffered in training camp.
