Friday Injury Report

Only three players were given game status designations for the upcoming trip to Arizona as one player has been ruled out and two are listed as questionable. Tackle Stone Forsythe has been ruled out for Sunday with a hand injury that forced him to miss the previous six games. Forsythe returned to practice last week after spending time on injured reserve but is not ready to return to game action yet.

Two players are questionable for Sunday including running back Kenneth Walker III. Walker suffered an ankle/calf injury that limited him in practice on Wednesday and forced him to sit out on Thursday and Friday. "I wish I could tell you. I just don't know right now," said head coach Mike Macdonald when asked about Walker's status on Friday. "So, we'll talk about plans in place on how we want to operate going into the weekend, if we have to make any moves or if we want to take it up to the game on Sunday. We're just not sure right now."

Punter Michael Dickson is also questionable due to the back spasms he sustained in last week's win over the New York Jets. Dickson was limited on Wednesday and Thursday but was able to full practice on Friday afternoon. "He looks he's getting better every day. I mean it looks positive right now," said coach Macdonald. "You just never know, if he's going to lock up again, so you have a contingency plan, but we're planning on him being ready to go." The Seahawks added punter Ty Zentner to their practice squad on Friday morning in case Dickson is unavailable to go on Sunday.

After missing the first two practices of the week, defensive lineman Leonard Williams returned to practice in a limited capacity on Friday afternoon. With no game status designation, Williams is ready to go for Sunday in Arizona. Linebacker Uchenna Nwosu is not on the game status report so he will be available to play in his first game since Week 5 but is expected to be eased back onto the field with a limited workload.

The Arizona Cardinals have ruled one player out and two more as questionable. Cornerback Elijah Jones will not play on Sunday as he is dealing with an ankle injury. Two defensive lineman, Naquan Jones and Dante Stills are the only players listed as questionable heading into Week 14.

Thursday Injury Report

Four players sat out practice on Thursday afternoon including wide receiver DK Metcalf and running back Kenneth Walker III. Both players began the week as limited participants in Wednesday's practice due to injuries but were forced to sit out of practice today Metcalf was on the injury report last week with the shoulder injury but that didn't affect his game status as he played most of the game. He suffered a knee injury in the win over the Jets but quickly returned to the field. Walker came out of the Jets game without any injuries but is now dealing with an ankle/calf injury.

Two defensive linemen, Leonard Williams and Johnathan Hankins, missed Thursday's practice, but Hankins was given the day off for resting purposes. Williams missed his second consecutive practice with a foot injury that has bothered him in recent weeks but has not missed any game action.

Two players, tight end Brady Russell and punter Michael Dickson, were limited for the second straight practice. Russell played in 71% of snaps on special teams in the Week 13 win over the Jets after missing the previous two games with a foot injury. Michael Dickson suffered back injury against the Jets that prevented him from punting for the rest of the game but was able to be the holder for field goals. After being limited in the first practice of the week, linebacker Ernest Jones IV was able to fully practice today.

Linebacker Uchenna Nwosu was activated from injured reserve on Thursday and fully participated in practice for the second straight day. Nwosu has only played in one game this season due to a knee injury suffered in the preseason and then sustained a thigh injury in the one game he's played in this regular season. Nwosu returned to practice last week and is making good progress towards returning to the field on gamedays. "I was dealing with a thigh injury. I actually had tore my quad in my left quad," said Nwosu prior to practice today. "That's what I was dealing with, talking to doctors, no surgery was needed. I rehabbed and I feel ready to go."

The Cardinals were not missing any players in practice today but had five defensive players who were limited, including three defensive linemen. Among the players who were limited was first round pick Darius Robinson who made his NFL debut last week after missing the first 11 games of the season with a calf injury.

Wednesday Injury Report

The Seahawks practiced without five players to start the week of preparation but three of those non-participants sat out for resting purposes. The two players who did not practice on Wednesday due to injury were tackle Abraham Lucas and defensive end Leonard Williams as they are listed with knee and foot injuries respectively. Despite both players being listed on the injury report in recent weeks, they have not missed any game action because of their injuries. Lucas returned from a knee injury that kept him out in every game before the bye week and has started the past three games.

Williams, who is coming off of a defensive player of the week award for his performance against the Jets, has been on the injury report in recent weeks but that has not prevented him from playing. In the past two weeks, Williams has recorded 4.5 sacks, six tackles for loss, a 92-yard interception return for a touchdown and a blocked PAT. Despite the injury, Williams hasn't been listed on the game status report in the past few games. Williams has said that the injury affects his preparation during the week but has not had an impact on his on-field performance.

Five players were limited on Wednesday, including wide receiver DK Metcalf who is dealing with a shoulder injury. Metcalf briefly exited the win over the Jets with a knee injury but quickly returned to the field. He was first listed with a shoulder injury on last week's report but downplayed the injury when speaking to the media prior to Wednesday's practice. Running back Kenneth Walker III was limited today as he is dealing with an ankle/calf injury. Punter Michael Dickson suffered a back injury against the Jets and was not able to punt the rest of the game but was able to continue serving as the field goal holder. Linebacker Ernest Jones IV (knee) and tight end Brady Russell (foot) were the other two players limited to start the week.

Tackle Stone Forsythe and linebacker Uchenna Nwosu were recently designated to return to practice after spending four weeks on injured reserve. Both players were full participants on Wednesday and are making good progress towards returning to game action.

"Those guys have a chance," said head coach Mike Macdonald. "We'll see how the week goes, when we activate them and all that, but excited about both of them. Really, everyone that has gone on IR has just worked their tails off, so when they get their opportunities, it'll be exciting."

The Arizona Cardinals only had one player miss practice on Wednesday, offensive lineman Kelvin Beachum who sat out for resting purposes. Two defensive lineman, Darius Robinson and Dante Stills were limited with calf and back injuries respectively.
