Wednesday Injury Report

The Seahawks practiced on Wednesday afternoon without five players due to injury including two starting cornerbacks and two offensive linemen. Both Tre Brown and Riq Woolen were unable to participate due to ankle injuries. Woolen has not practiced since injuring his ankle in the Week 5 loss to the Giants and did not play the following week vs. the 49ers. "Riq (Woolen) we'll see throughout the week. It's going to kind of come down to the wire with Riq it seems like," said head coach Mike Macdonald prior to practice on Wednesday. Tre Brown is also suffering from an ankle injury and was forced to exit the 49ers game and did not return.

Two offensive linemen that have been in the starting lineup in recent weeks, tackle Stone Forsythe and guard Anthony Bradford were unable to practice on Wednesday. Forsythe had been starting in place of the veteran tackle George Fant who had been out of the lineup since getting injured in Week 1. Bradford has been starting at right guard but is now dealing with a toe injury that kept him out of practice today. Center Connor Williams was able to practice but was limited because of a chest injury.

Five players were limited on Wednesday including two starters on defense. Among the players that were limited was rookie defensive tackle Byron Murphy II who has not played since Week 3. Murphy suffered a hamstring injury in the win over the Dolphins that forced him to miss the last three games but is getting limited work this week which is a good sign that he's making his way his back to seeing the field on gameday. Leonard Williams (knee) and Boye Mafe (knee) were also limited as they prepare for Week 7 in Atlanta.

Safety Jerrick Reed II was designated to return to practice after spending the first six weeks of the season on the PUP list. Reed's return could be an important addition to the safety room that just lost Rayshawn Jenkins for at least the next four games as he was placed on injured reserve. Safety Julian Love was the lone Seahawk to be listed as a full participant as he has been dealing with a hamstring/quad injury in recent weeks.

The Falcons started their week of practice without three players including safety Justin Simmons. The four-time All-Pro safety, Simmons, did not practice on Wednesday as he is dealing with a hamstring injury. Inside linebacker Troy Andersen missed practice because of a knee injury while outside linebacker Lorenzo Carter was unable to participate due to a concussion. Four players were limited participants but two of them, Bijan Robinson and Matthew Judon, were given the day off for resting purposes.
