GLENDALE, Ariz.—The Seahawks will have punter Michael Dickson for a key NFC West showdown with the Arizona Cardinals.
Dickson, who had back spasms flare up in last week's win over the Jets, is active for Sunday's game after being listed as questionable on Friday's injury report.
Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald expressed optimism on Friday that Dickson would be able to play, but there was enough uncertainty that the Seahawks added a punter, Ty Zentner, to their practice squad late in the week and elevated him on Saturday. With Dickson playing, Zentner is inactive .
Also inactive, as expected, are running back Kenneth Walker III, who was downgraded from questionable to out on Saturday due to a calf injury, and cornerback Tre Brown, who was added to the injury report Saturday and ruled out due to a hamstring injury.
With Walker sidelined, Zach Charbonnet is expected to get the start, his third of the season. Charbonnet rushed for 129 yards and three scores on 32 carries while filling in for Walker in Seattle's wins over the Patriots and Dolphins earlier this season. The Seahawks also elevated rookie running back George Holani from the practice squad to provide depth behind Charbonnet and Kenny McIntosh, and Holani is active for what will be his second regular season game.
