The Seahawks elevated running back George Holani and punter Ty Zentner from the practice squad on Saturday, adding depth at those two spots with Kenneth Walker III and Michael Dickson both listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
Additionally, cornerback Tre Brown was added to the injury report with a hamstring injury and is doubtful for Sunday's game.
Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald expressed optimism on Friday that Dickson, who had back spasms flare up during last week's game against the Jets, will be able to play, but Zentner was added as a contingency plan.
"He's getting better every day," Macdonald said after Friday's practice. "It looks positive right now. You just never know, is it going to lock up again? So you have a contingency plan, but we're planning on him being ready to go."
Walker's status is less certain, as he was a non-participant in practice on both Thursday and Friday due to ankle and calf injuries.
"Wish I could tell you, I just don't know right now," Macdonald said when asked about Walker. "We'll talk about plans in place on how we want to operate going into the weekend if we've got to make any moves, or if we want to take it up to the game on Sunday. We're just not sure right now."
Holani, who was signed as an undrafted rookie out of Boise State, would give the Seahawks additional depth behind Zach Charbonnet and Kenny McIntosh if Walker isn't able to play.
Zentner, who went undrafted out of Kansas State, has appeared in 10 games over the past two seasons for the Texans, Titans and Rams, most recently punting against the Seahawks in the Rams' Week 9 game at Seattle.
Holani has appeared in one game this season, playing six snaps on special teams in Seattle's Week 2 win in New England.
