Seahawks tight end Noah Fant is returning to practice after missing the first three practices of training camp.
Fant passed his physical on Sunday, clearing the way for him to come off the physically unable to perform list.
Fant, who the Seahawks acquired in a trade last year, had what Seahawks coach Pete Carroll referred to as "a little work done" on his knee during the offseason.
"He's in really good shape," Carroll said Wednesday after Fant was placed on the PUP list. "He can run full speed and do all the stuff but we don't want to push him yet. Like the other guys, we want to make sure and guarantee that he's back and fully equipped to take on the load. He was frustrated by not being out but he agreed with being on the PUP just so we can take care of him."
The Seahawks held their third practice of Training Camp in front of a large crowd of fans on Friday, July 28, 2023 at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center.
