The Seahawks will welcome guard Phil Haynes back to practice this week, as he has been designated for return after spending the last five games on injured reserve.
Haynes, Seattle's starting right guard to open the season, has started eight games at right guard, but was placed on IR with a toe injury prior to the Seahawks' Week 13 game at Dallas. Rookie Anthony Bradford has been the starter there in Haynes' place.
Haynes can practice without counting towards the 53-man roster limit, but a move would have to be made for him to be added to the roster before he could play in a game.
If Haynes is ready this week, he will give the Seahawks added line depth with Jason Peters, who has played both right tackle and right guard, dealing with a foot injury that kept him out of last week's game, and with starting right tackle Abraham Lucas' status in question due to a knee injury that knocked him out of last weekend's game.
