The Seahawks signed defensive end Alex Tchangam to their practice squad on Monday, bringing back a player who spent time with Seattle during training camp.
Tchangam, who appeared in Seattle's preseason loss to the Broncos, playing 21 snaps on defense and five on special teams, went undrafted out of Colorado in 2020. Born in Cameroon, Tchangam moved to Georgia when he was in middle school and did not play organized football until he was in junior college at De Anza College, where he recorded 16 sacks in 15 games before transferring to Colorado.
Tchangam appeared in 20 games over two seasons with Colorado, and as a senior he started four games, recording 30 tackles, 3.5 sacks, four tackles for loss and one forced fumble.
The Seahawks had an open spot on the practice squad, having released center Brad Lundblade last week.
