The Seahawks added to their running back depth heading into training camp, signing Cameron Scarlett, a former Stanford standout who went undrafted in 2020.
Scarlett signed with Tennessee as an undrafted rookie free agent and spent camp with the Titans, but was waived prior to the start of the season.
Scarlett, who is from Portland, won Stanford's team MVP award in 2019 when he rushed for 840 yards and seven touchdowns and added 240 receiving yards. Scarlett also returned kickoffs prior to his senior season, including a sophomore season in which he had 1,008 yards on 39 returns.
No corresponding move was needed, as receiver Tamorrion Terry was waived last month and the roster spot was never filled.
