Wood-Anderson, who went undrafted out of Tennessee last year, signed with the Seahawks as a free agent after the draft, but was waived prior to the start of training camp as the Seahawks trimmed their roster from 90 to 80 players as part of the league's COVID-19 protocols.

A transfer from Arizona Western Community College, the 6-foot-4, 247-pound Wood-Anderson played two seasons at Tennessee, catching 38 passes for 408 yards and three touchdowns in 24 games played, 17 of them starts.

Running back B.J. Emmons, who signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in May, was waived to make room on the 90-man roster.
