Julian Love showed up in big ways that made a huge difference in Sunday's win over the Jets. Love finished the game with six tackles, one pass defensed and a forced fumble on Jets' running back, Breece Hall, that led to a Seahawks field goal. He also came up with a stop on the Jets' final drive on short pass to the middle on a second-and-10 play.

"That was a good play," Love said on the forced fumble that set up Seattle to put some more points on the board. "Obviously, [Breece Hall] is a really good running back. He's elusive, he's strong and I was able to square him up, get I think my helmet on the ball and jar it loose. A big play and I'm happy I can make it."

With 1:57 left to play, on the Jets' final drive, they were looking to score and put the game away. On a second-and-10 play on the Seahawks' 29-yard line, Love came up with a tackle on running back Isaiah Davis for no gain, setting the Jets up for a third-and-10. Rodgers was sacked on the next play and threw an incomplete pass after that.

"Great play call," Love said on making that stop. "I'll give credit to Mike [Macdonald]. Great play call. Aaron [Rodgers] felt pressure and thankfully I was rolling down, saw the back try to slip out and just made a play. I'll give it all credit to the play call and just me just had to be in the right place and just make a tackle."

Head coach Mike Macdonald said that all three safeties are playing really well right now.

"I mean both Coby [Bryant] too and then Rayshawn [Jenkins] coming in and playing at a high level in our nickel and dime spot. Really, those three guys right now are letting us do a lot of things that most, some defenses aren't able to. Being able to play man to man, all three levels of defense, then being able to blitz. They kind of do everything, which lets us open up our playbook."

Safety Coby Bryant finished with five tackles and Rayshawn Jenkins with three. Love said the way the three of them are playing together "unlocks" the defense.

"I'm very grateful to be part of this safety unit," Love said. "Obviously, they look to me as kind of a leader and just kind of that mental tip of the spear for everything. But Coby [Bryant] is such a playmaker. You guys have seen it for years. Just gets the ball. He's around the ball, he makes tackles. And then Ray [Jenkins] I mean is just a baller. We need his swag, his energy, and just his physicality. And so all of us really complement each other and I think it unlocks our defense to do more things with all of us on the field."

Seahawks cornerback Josh Jobe added, "Julian Love, he's a great leader, great teammate and he's a smart guy."

The Seahawks pulled out a close win on the road vs. the New York Jets to win their third consecutive game and extend their division lead. Check out some the best postgame celebration scenes from their Week 13 victory.
