Head Coach Matt LaFleur

MATT LaFLEUR: Great team effort, especially our defense I thought they played a really good game for four quarters, got constant pressure on the quarterback, got a couple takeaways. It was great to have Cooper obviously back. His stat line was pretty impressive. Made some big-time plays. I think offensively we started fast, then stalled in the second half and didn't probably perform the way we'd like to. But you got to give them a lot of credit. I think that defense has come a long way. I got a lot of respect for Mike and his staff, Aden Durde, their ability to get those guys to play. They play hard and they play the right way. It's a good scheme. You got to give them a lot of credit. But I also want to give a big shout-out to our fans. I mean, I definitely was not expecting that many Packer fans in the stands. This is a tough place to play. It's extremely loud. I was shocked when our defense was on the field and I could hear our Packer fans, so... I definitely think that made a difference for us.

You guys are probably going to have to play on the road when you get in the playoffs, be road warriors. How do you like how you're handling these situations?

MATT LaFLEUR: You must have listened to my postgame deal with Larry. That's exactly what I said. I mean, that's the reality of it more than likely. But we just got to keep stacking wins and try to take it one day at a time, one game at a time. But I like our guys' confidence. We came out, we started fast. We knew that was going to be a key to the game, to try to take the crowd out as best we could. I thought the first half was a pretty clean half. C.B. had a huge pick for us, weren't able to take it down and get points at the end of the half. I totally mismanaged the end of the half. That was 100% on me, just being too indecisive, putting it on Jordan, giving him a call at the line of scrimmage that took far too long. That is something that can't happen. That can cost us if it were a tighter game. That one's on me.

(Question about field goal range.)

MATT LaFLEUR: Not necessarily. It was a moment where I was indecisive. Didn't want to call timeout because too much time had ticked off the clock. Then I should have called timeout and didn't. It was just poor management, something that can't happen.

Jordan's check into a play...

MATT LaFLEUR: He was. I gave him free rein to get to what I wanted to. But I shouldn't have done that. I should have been more decisive and had a play called for us, got on the ball. Definitely did not want to give them the ball back before the end of the half. Once we got to midfield, we needed to be more aggressive. That was just lousy play calling by me.

What did having Romeo back in this game mean?

MATT LaFLEUR: Yeah, how about that catch, that second touchdown catch? That was a big-time play. I love how Rome works. He's been pretty consistent for us when given opportunities. He comes through. So it was cool to have him back out there. It's hard to get all the guys the amount of touches you'd like to when you have a room that you feel is pretty stacked. You got a lot of guys that you want to get involved, whether it's our running backs. Certainly Tucker Kraft made some big-time plays. But that's a good problem to have.

With a young team, what is the process like in instilling that killer instinct? How important was that touchdown to put a stamp on this win?

MATT LaFLEUR: It was big-time because it felt way disjointed in the second half. I mean, that's the reality of it. Again, give them credit. That's a good defense. But I thought there were some opportunities we just didn't capitalize on. Some was just lack of execution, others was terrible play calls.

How do you look at those pass interference ones to Christian?

MATT LaFLEUR: Are you talking about the last third down?

First half pass interference down to Christian. Jordan said he wanted to get that a little farther down the field. Are those plays you consider good decisions on his part?

MATT LaFLEUR: I would think so, yeah. I mean, we have a lot of confidence in our wide receivers, no matter it's Rome or Wicks or Watson or Jay Reed, Bo, any of those guys. When they get one on one open, we expect them to make the plays. A PI, it doesn't show up on the stat sheet, but those are some chunk plays.

What is it about Cooper, he's a rookie, misses three games, then he gets in there and has a huge impact game? What is it about him that allows him to do that?

MATT LaFLEUR: He's just a hell of a player. I think Haf does a great job of putting him in positions to have success. It's been fun to watch and witness his growth. Campanelli does a hell of a job with that whole room. Those guys have all gotten better throughout the course of season, whether it's Quay, Eric, Isaiah. They're all improving. Hopper. Every guy in that room. It's because of the consistency coaching that Campanelli does. I think Haf does a great job of putting those guys in positions to make plays. Coop is a hell of an athlete, man. He's a really good football player. I think he's just scratching the surface of what he can become in this league.

Geno going down obviously changes the game for the Seahawks. How about the sacks in this one? Was that a plan or an opportunity?

MATT LaFLEUR: I think that's the plan every week, right? It's just whether or not you're able to go out there and do it. Obviously we're always trying to get pressure on the quarterback. That's the number one way to disrupt anything on offense. But our D-line came to play and they did a hell of a job. Just got constant pressure. You never want to see a guy like that go down. I got a lot of respect for Geno, just watching him through his career, how he's reinvented himself. He's playing really good football. You're not the second-ranked passing leader in this game for no reason. They got a lot of good players over there. He does a great job. Hated to see it for him and for them to go down. We never want to see that. That's unfortunate. But that is part of our game.

You are 10-4, had a decisive win against a good team in a tough place to play. How close do you feel you are to realizing and reaching what the potential is?

MATT LaFLEUR: We'll see. We're going to take it one game at a time. That's just the mindset that we've always had here. I still think there's a lot to improve upon, myself included obviously.

How much does that weigh on your mind? You just had this big win, but the things that are still out there?

MATT LaFLEUR: That's kind of the mindset that we have, is just how can we get better? I think you got to keep pushing that envelope and strive to reach your full potential.

Did you spend some time on screen passes this past week in practice?

MATT LaFLEUR: We did. It came up handy, right? We did a really good job. I got to give Haf a ton of credit. I think he just does a heck of a job, man. It means a lot to him obviously, but he does a great job of putting our guys in position, always trying to come up with things to offset wherever our holes are. Me being an offensive guy, you always think you can poke holes through any defensive scheme at some point. You're constantly trying to stay ahead of the competition. Seattle does a great job in their screen game. We knew that was going to be a part of this game. I thought our guys went out there and took the coaching and executed at a high level.

Giving to it Josh the first eight times, was that planned?

MATT LaFLEUR: That wasn't necessarily scripted plays in order. I think the first three I want to say out of our 30 plays or whatever we had scripted went in order. I just felt like we were getting good movement up front. I kept leaning on the run game. Josh was running hard, getting downhill. Just kept feeding him the ball. It kind of set the tone for us, as well.

(Indiscernible) start with two safeties back?

MATT LaFLEUR: That's their defense. It's extremely difficult to get behind this defense. They do a good job of keeping a lid on the coverage. We knew the check-downs were going to be huge. I thought there were some opportunities the screen game going into the game. So that's why we came out with those right away. Rarely do teams screen back to back. There was just some intent behind that. Our guys went out there and executed and it set us up in a good position.

On Walker's injury.

MATT LaFLEUR: I don't know. I just know they told me at halftime he was going to be out.

QB Jordan Love

Q. What was the key to just getting off to such a fast start the first two drives?

JORDAN LOVE: Yeah, that is definitely something that we've focused on all week, we've talked about all week, is starting fast. Something that the week before we didn't do a good enough job on. It was definitely something that we focused on. I think we did a great job of coming out fast, putting up some touchdowns early, and the defense doing a great job of getting the ball back for us. That's when we're at our best, starting fast, getting the ball, putting up points, going from there.

Q. What kind comfort does it give to a quarterback that you have a running back that you give it to him eight straight times?

JORDAN LOVE: A lot of confidence. Especially when he's running the ball the way he is, coming up with some big gains right there. I think when that guy is hot, you want to keep giving him the ball, feeding him. I think just his ability to stay in there, take those hits, keep running the way he does. A special player, for sure.

Q. We look at this turnaround for you since the bye. How much of it is since you have the running game it makes things easier at your position?

JORDAN LOVE: Definitely. Whenever you're running the ball well, the next stop is the defense is going to try to figure out a way to take that away. They might load the box more, do things like that. Anytime you can run the ball, I think it sets up play-action, too, sets up more stuff down the field.

Q. Each week do you feel more of a connection with Christian Watson, kind of know where he's going to be?

JORDAN LOVE: No, I think me and Christian, all the receivers, have a great connection. I think just trying to get him those targets has been something we've been trying to do lately. He's been doing a great job. I think obviously there were a couple deep balls today that were left short. Wish I was able to put them more out there for those guys, make a play. They're doing a great job of trying to fight through contact, drawing some of those P.I. (pass interference) calls. Obviously trying to get him the ball as much as possible, the way he is running down the field, getting past some of these DBs. Definitely something to keep going going forward.

Q. Route to Romeo Doubs on the last touchdown is exactly where you wanted him to be?

JORDAN LOVE: He's just running the post. They brought all-out pressure. He just went inside, and I just threw it up for him. He made a play. But it was definitely a lot closer to the back end line than I thought it would be. But yeah, all out he's got to make a play one on one with that DB, and he came up with with it.

Q. What was the situation with the clock at the end of the first half? Were you trying to get into field goal range?

JORDAN LOVE: We had a shot play called right there. We were definitely trying to take the top off and score a touchdown. I think that's always the mindset in those two-minute situations. We had a timeout, so we were trying to push the ball down the field. We drew the P.I. call there with a couple seconds left. We were trying to (push it) down the field.

Q. Explosive first half for you. Seemed to take a while to get your feet underneath yourselves in the second half.

JORDAN LOVE: I don't think they did anything crazy, anything that we might not have been expecting. I think we came out and just weren't making the same plays we were making the first half. That was probably the most disappointing part of the game for us, is the second half. We didn't feel like we got back in that rhythm, in that groove, and continue to move the ball. I think more than anything we were hurting ourselves in some of those situations.

Q. You know how good you can be. How important is it to be able to put those fourth quarters together?

JORDAN LOVE: Very important. We talk about it all week. This is a playoff-type game here, a playoff team on the other side, a very good team, in an away environment. It's something that we're going to have to clean up, just having that consistency for four quarters and being able to put together a four-quarter battle. We always talk about in these games somehow it always comes down to the last couple minutes. Teams find a way to put up points, do different things. You have to keep having that foot on the gas, keep making the big-time plays we were making in the first half. We definitely got to do better of playing a complete four-quarter game.

Q. How much control did you actually feel on the road compared to Detroit? Did you just feel like everything was in control?

JORDAN LOVE: I think the guys did a good job communicating in the huddle, staying locked in with the snap count, being able to hear Josh (Myers) up there and doing those different things. I think it's a credit to everybody on the offense doing a good job of handling the noise, the environment. To that point, too, I think the Packer fans did a great job showing up for this game. It was packed out with a lot of Packer fans, which actually helps out.

Q. Did you get a hard count on the guy who jumped when you completed the ball to Tucker?

JORDAN LOVE: Yeah, we got him.

Q. On a hard count?

JORDAN LOVE: Yes.

Q. Finding that consistency, how good did it feel to punctuate it with the Romeo Doubs touchdown?

JORDAN LOVE: That was a really nice play and a really nice job because the couple drives before that, we just felt like we weren't getting much out of it. We weren't executing at that high level, making those plays we were making. To kind of have some of those drives stall out, then to put a drive down the field and finish with that touchdown right there, Rome (Romeo Doubs) making a great catch, definitely helps you to be able to breathe a little bit better.

Q. I know you got confidence in all your receivers. What did it mean to get Rome (Romeo Doubs) back after missing a couple games?

JORDAN LOVE: It was awesome. That's something I really haven't seen out of Rome, running guys over, carrying them, putting the team on his back. I think it just shows how much he loves it, is willing to fight for those extra yards, fight to get that touchdown. That was a great play by him. You always want to have your best guys out there healthy. It was tough not having Rome out there. To get him back and obviously him having those two touchdowns was huge tonight. He's one of our best playmakers on offense. It's always good having him back out there.

Q. How helpful was the interception?

JORDAN LOVE: That was huge. Like I said, just having those drives stall out on offense, then for Coop (Edgerrin Cooper) to be able to go out there and get that pick, almost was able to take it back it looked like. He had a great game. We just talked about it in there. Coach read off his stat line. Hearing some of that stuff, he had a crazy game. You've seen the work he's put in throughout the course of this season. He's getting better every week. He's a phenomenal player. It's good to see him go out there and have that success.

Q. What did it feel like to hear the Packer fans?

JORDAN LOVE: That's something I don't think anybody will ever forget. Definitely the game started off loud. Even from the get-go, just seeing all those Packer fans there was awesome. Obviously to have those 'Go Pack Go' chants ring through the stadium was a great feeling.

Q. How do you feel about where this team is right now getting your 10th win tonight?

JORDAN LOVE: Yeah, I feel really good. I think we're in a really good spot. I think we got to do the same thing we've talked about all season, just take it one game at a time and finish this season off, be where we want to be for playoffs. I like where we're at. We've just got to keep figuring out ways to get better, keep pushing each other, finding ways to get these wins to end the season off. But I like where we're at.

DL Karl Brooks

(On their sacks tonight and being able to get after the quarterback) "It felt good. We knew what they wanted to do and we pinned our ears back and got after it when we saw it. It felt good to get a game like that as a [defensive] line. Get the sacks and get the pressures. Get him off his spot. It was a good outing for us."

(On when they felt like they cemented the win) "We felt like we got the win when the clock hit zero. You don't take anything for granted in the NFL. Everybody's good. Anything can happen when there's time on the clock. We knew we had the win when it hit zero."

(On how much easier it is to play from ahead when the offense has a first half like they did) "It feels good. When our offense can put up points like the way they did and control the rock, control the time of possession, and then we go out there and get a stop and get the ball back to them when they're hot, it's good complimentary football."

(On getting a win on the road and how they can use this in the playoffs in January) "We take the experience. Like you said, Seattle is going to be in the playoffs for sure so we take that film and we take this game atmosphere and we learn from it. We get better from it. We hit the film and make our corrections."

OL Zach Tom

(On if the game started how they wanted it to start) "I think it went great. We came out, we said we wanted to establish the run first and then we came out and it's always nice when those scripted plays work. We went right down the field and set the tone for the rest of the game."

(On how much of a strength the run game has become for the team) "It's everything. We always say everything starts with the run. When we go into any game, we say we have to establish the run and that will open up everything else. Especially with [Josh Jacobs] running out there, breaking tackles and making plays, it's really the foundation of our offense."

(On Josh Jacobs' relentlessness and taking the ball consistently) "I'm out there, so I don't usually get to see everything, but when I'm watching on film, one thing I notice about him is he fights for every inch. When you have a running back like that, it just makes you want to hold your block just a little bit longer so he can spring something and make it happen. With him, any play can turn into a home run."

DL Kingsley Enagbare

(On what made Green Bay successful tonight) "We were playing complementary football from all three aspects of the game: special teams, offense, defense. Pretty much everyone was just playing off each other, setting each other up for the best position to win."

(On if this team is well-positioned for its final three games) "Oh, yeah, definitely. That pretty much was our mindset from the jump. After the season we had last year, we just knew the sky's the limit for this team. We're eager and ready to go."

WR Christian Watson

(On how he felt the offense played overall) "We just have to be better at finishing. I thought we started really well, and we came out the way we wanted to. We've got to find a way to be consistent when they start switching things up and giving us different looks. We have to be able to execute better."

(On how their deep passing game is taking shape) "It's definitely been there. The opportunities have been there. We've made some plays down the field, and I think all of us know we can be a little bit better. For me, it's finding ways to get on top a bit better when the leverage isn't always in my favor. We're getting there, we're making splash plays, but you just have to find a way to take them when they're there."

LB Edgerrin Cooper

(On what he saw on his read on the interception) "I just knew they were trying to bend behind me. So I was able to pack back inside. I saw him throw the ball and made the play."

(On if he thought he would be limited coming into the game) "I have no idea. But I just prepared to go out there and make plays."

(On how he felt out there and if he needed to ease his way into the game) "My plan is to just go out there and have fun. I've been doing this a long time and it's just football at the end of the day. Go out there and do what I need to do."

(On the sacks on defense and his sack) "It was a great feeling, that first play. Being able to go out there and make a play like that. Our defense, the ability that we have, it's through the roof. I'm really looking forward to seeing what we've got going next."

LB Eric Wilson

(On the impact of losing guys to injury) "Regardless of who's out there, schematically things might be different every game, but we have playmakers everywhere."

(On the impact of guys returning from injury) "It's good to see them out there picking up where they left off. That's one thing that's impressive, but it's also a huge help to the team. We love it, man. We know those guys are ballers, and it's great to see them. They made incredible plays."

S Xavier McKinney

(On the impact of the Packers' linebackers) "I think our linebacker room as a whole can do so many different things and they are very versatile. I think it starts with Quay (Walker). He can cover, blitz, tackle. They pretty much have all of the components you would want in a linebacker room and it helps us defensively."

(On what he thought of the Packers pass rush) "I would say great. I think we had seven sacks. I was telling them, 'Damn, they can't even get rid of the ball because y'all are getting back there so quick.' It's always good to see them collect those sacks and create that pressure on the quarterback and it ties in with them getting back there with our disguise, so it's clicking."

(On how much tougher it gets playing quarterbacks in the postseason) "I don't necessarily think it's about the opposing quarterbacks. I think it's about the ways we continue to build the way we disguise, and the pressure we're able to generate. I think all of that is going to help once we start playing those top tier quarterbacks. Getting them off their spot just a little bit and making it a little blurry will be all we need."

DL Kenny Clark

(On how Edgerrin Cooper played) "Yeah, he balled. Seven tackles, pick, and a sack. He's fast, he has all the ability in the world. He balled out today."

(On what worked for the pass rush today) "Just winning our one-on-one's. We got them in passing situations. Stopped the run for the most part - they probably had like one big run. We got them in drop back situations and were able to pin our ears back and rush."

(On the impact of Carrington Valentine's interception) "That was huge, because they were driving the field, trying to get momentum back, and we were up and I think once C.V. got that pick, that kind of took it out of them a little bit."

WR Romeo Doubs

(On the difficult catch for his second touchdown) "I just caught the ball. It was nothing crazy. Obviously, Jordan (Love) put the ball where it was supposed to be. And me playing the position I play, I made a play on the ball. It pretty much sealed the deal so it was a great team win."

(On putting the Seahawks away when they had to and how that felt) "If I'm being completely honest, we started off hot the first half, the second half was a little loopy. So I would say that, regardless, we did what we did. My whole point is that it could've been done. That's just part of us getting better collectively as a core. I look forward to progress, cleaning up the details on tape and just moving on to the next opponent."

(On which touchdown makes him more proud) "I was just happy that we put points on the board. I wasn't really proud of nothing. I'm just glad we got the team win."

(On if he thought he'd be able to score on his first touchdown when he had to carry defenders into the end zone) "Yeah. We were close enough to the end zone. We had a play call that wasn't really designed for whatever coverage it was. But sometimes you just have to play ball and ultimately, I was able to do that and put points on the board."

RB Josh Jacobs

(On what it was like to touch the ball on eight straight plays in the first drive...) "I always want to set the tone, so it felt good to me. But, I'm not going to lie, I was tired at the end of it. I looked up and thought, how long have we had the ball? I'm one of them players, man, where it doesn't matter if I'm dead tired. If it's an important play or anything, I'm going to stay on the field. So I just grinded it out."

(On if it was important to quiet the crowd when Green Bay is on the road...) "I don't think that necessarily that was something we were thinking about. I think it was moreso just starting fast, establishing our brand of football. We had a lot of fans there today. I feel like I heard our fans more than theirs, so it was pretty good."

(On how it feels to be the focal point of the offense...) "It feels pretty good. The plays we dialed up, they were working. Like I said, we just wanted to establish our brand of football. I want to start the game a certain type of way to create energy and things like that for the team. It just happened to play out that way today."

(On the benefit of a quick start...) "It was good. We wanted to start fast and we wanted to play complementary football. In the second half, I felt the offense kind of stalled out a little bit, but our defense picked it up, so, complementary football."

(On the lessons of a game such as this...) "Just learning a way to win. Learning what it looks like even when you win; it's one thing to squeak by and get a win, and it's another thing to get a dominant win. So that's just something that we're learning. The rest of these games are all going to be like playoff games. That's a playoff team. We knew that before coming in, and I feel our guys were a little more motivated today."

(On sustaining drives...) "We've just got to go to our bread-and-butter plays and just grind it out. That's dominance to me, when you know we're about to do this play and you still can't stop it. It takes the will out of the defense and it establishes what we want to do. That' something we're going to come in and try to work on."
