Next week, scouts representing all 32 of the NFL's franchises will head to Indianapolis for the 2024 NFL Combine, with on-field drills beginning on February 29. Here are what some of the draft experts believe the Seahawks will do with pick No.16 in April's draft.

16. Seattle Seahawks: Byron Murphy, defensive tackle, Texas

Leonard Williams is a pending free agent, but even if the Seahawks work out a deal with him, Murphy would be a nice complement on the interior defensive line.

16. Seattle Seahawks: Troy Fautanu, OL, Washington

Easterling: This pick just makes too much sense. Finding interior offensive line help should easily be Seattle's top priority this offseason, and they shouldn't have to look far for the perfect fit. Fautanu played left tackle for the nearby Huskies, but could be even more dominant at the next level if he slides inside to guard, where he'd be an instant upgrade for the Seahawks.

16. Seattle Seahawks: Byron Murphy, defensive tackle, Texas

Davis: Both mock drafts point to a new defensive player in Seattle under first-year head coach Mike Macdonald. Murphy finished first among FBS interior defensive lineman in pass-rush win percentage (19.6) and led the Longhorns in pressures with 45 in 2023. He wins with leverage and effort despite standing at 6-foot-1.

16. Seattle Seahawks: Jared Verse, linebacker, Florida State

Middlehurst-Schwartz: "Seattle is one of the more difficult teams to peg in the first round, as there are any number of avenues that John Schneider and new coach Mike Macdonald could pursue. For now, let's equip an ailing defense with Verse, a jolting presence off the edge thanks to his power and explosiveness."

16. Seattle Seahawks: Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama

With Mike Macdonald now pressing the buttons in Seattle, adding a pass rusher like Dallas Turner seems like good business. The Seahawks have a talented youth-infused secondary, why not add to the front four with a twitched-up athlete who can rush the passer with success for years to come?

16. Seattle Seahawks: Laiatu Latu, defensive end, UCLA

Fit: Boye Mafe had a nice season in Year 2, but the Seattle Seahawks must find someone to pair him with on the defensive line. Laiatu Latu isn't the biggest or most athletic edge rusher in this class, but he is technically sound.
