Happy Blue Friday, 12s!

Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Friday, July 24 – about your Seattle Seahawks.

Going 1-on-1

In yet another sign of the football season approaching, Q13 Fox has started airing segments of their virtual interviews with several Seahawks players. Wide receivers DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, tight end Greg Olsen, and linebackers K.J. Wright and Bruce Irvin all spent time chatting with Q13 anchors Aaron Levine and Michelle Ludtka in recent weeks, and they covered a lot of ground. Throughout the wide-ranging conversations, we get to hear Irvin's excitement about returning to Seattle, Olsen's impressions of Russell Wilson from the opposing sidelines, Lockett's thoughts on social injustices, and the story of how a coffee came to be named after DK Metcalf.

Each interview averages right around ten minutes in total, but Q13 is debuting them in segments during news broadcasts over the course of the next few weeks. Afterwards, you can find them right here on Seahawks.com. Here are a few to get you started:

The full interviews with each player will air for the first time on the following dates:

·      DK Metcalf - Monday, August 3

·      K.J. Wright - Tuesday, August 4

·      Tyler Lockett - Wednesday, August 5

·      Bruce Irvin - Thursday, August 6

·      Greg Olsen - Monday, August 10
