Friday Round-Up: Russell Wilson And NFL Family Come Together For Stay Home, Stay Strong Message

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and the Griffin brothers were three of many NFL players to be featured in the league’s ‘Stay Home, Stay Strong’ video message.

Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Friday, March 27 – about your Seattle Seahawks:

Stay Home, Stay Strong

Stay Home, Stay Strong. Two very powerful lines during these difficult times. The NFL produced a video promoting the importance of staying home to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus.

The video features a handful of NFL players and Legends sharing their experience from home in a simple selfie video. Most of the players showcase a member or two of their family, emphasizing the opportunity we all have to spend time with our loved ones.

In a short section of the video that mentions Tik Tok, you may have noticed cornerback Shaquill Griffin with linebacker Shaquem Griffin, who have recently created an account, along with quarterback Russell Wilson, Ciara, and the whole Wilson family who are also on Tik Tok.

Russell and Ciara pop up again a little later in the video, using an excerpt from their video message announcing they would donate one million meals with Seattle Food Lifeline.

The video already has well over one million views on Twitter when it hasn't even seen the light of day for more than 24 hours. Go spend time with your loved ones, everyone!
