Good morning, 12s. Here's a look at what's out there today — Friday, October 7 — about your Seattle Seahawks.
K.J. Wright Named to 2022 SEC Football Legends Class
In December, Seahawks Legend K.J. Wright will join 13 fellow recipients to be honored as part of the SEC Legends Football Class in Atlanta. After a decorated 11-year NFL career, Wright recently hung up his cleats. Now he's getting honored for his efforts in his college days.
In July, Wright returned to the Virginia Mason Athletic Center to officially retire as a Seahawk, where he became an all-time franchise great over the course of 10 seasons. Now, Wright is using his football expertise to enlighten fans as part of Seattle Sports 710AM's Seahawks coverage.
In addition to lettering every year as a Bulldog on the way to 259 career tackles, Wright earned All-SEC academic honors in 2011.
Wright continues to leave an impact in every place he touches, from the fields of Mississippi and here in Seattle - to the studio in front of the microphone.
