Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Monday, January 14 – about your Seattle Seahawks:
Team Mauka vs. Team Makai
The Polynesian Bowl has announced that Seahawks Ring of Honor member Jim Zorn has been selected as a head coach for the 2019 Polynesian Bowl, along with Mike Belloti. The Polynesian Bowl is an all-star game that showcases the nation's top 100 high school players. This year's game will be held in Oahu, Hawaii at Aloha Stadium on January 19.
Zorn played with the Seahawks as a left-handed quarterback for the team's first eight seasons. He continued his career with the team as the quarterbacks coach in 2001 to 2007. Zorn will coach Team Mauka (Mountain) at this year's Polynesian Bowl.
"It's going to be an incredible experience to coach the nation's top players in paradise," said Zorn. "It doesn't get much better than football in Hawaii."
The game will be a part of the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement weekend, in which Seahawks Legends Lofa Tatupu and Dan Saleaumua will be inducted into the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame.
