Good morning, 12s. Happy Victory Monday! Here's a look at what's happening today – Monday, Oct. 4 – for your Seattle Seahawks.
What's Being Said: Seahawks 28, 49ers 21
The Seahawks avoided their first three-game losing streak of the Russell Wilson era with a come-from-behind 28-21 victory over the 49ers in Week 4. It was a rough start, as the Seahawks went three-and-out on their first five drives, netting a total of negative-12 yards. The game ended up tied at the half, and Seattle used touchdowns on three of its first four drives in the second half to secure the key divisional win.
Russell Wilson again shined for the Seahawks, totaling three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing), 175 yards (149 passing, 26 rushing) and no turnovers. It was Wilson’s 100th career regular-season win, and he did so faster than any quarterback in NFL history. DK Metcalf had four receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown, while Alex Collins added 44 rushing yards and a touchdown. Second-year defenders Jordyn Brooks and Darrell Taylor both had a sack and Quandre Diggs secured the Seahawks' first interception of the season.
