Good morning, 12s. Here's a look at what's out there today — Monday, March 20— about your Seattle Seahawks.

Seahawks Secondary Looking Strong Heading Into 2023

In the 2022 draft, the Seahawks added cornerbacks Coby Bryant and Tariq Woolen. Bryant would tie for third league-wide in forced fumbles (4), while Woolen's league-high-tying six interceptions helped him earn a trip to the Pro Bowl. At safety, Ryan Neal produced a career-year, while Quandre Diggs was selected to his third straight Pro Bowl. With a few early moves in free agency, Seattle looks to build its next great secondary.

SAFETY: JULIAN LOVE

2022 Team: New York Giants

2022 PFF Grade: 66.7

Love was a full-time starter in 2022 and, in turn, delivered a career-best 70.9 PFF coverage grade. A more-than-capable tackler, Love has missed just 7.9% of his career attempts. This past season, he tied for fourth among all safeties with 30 tackles resulting in a defensive stop.

As Seattle looks ahead to April's draft, Neal (No.1) and Diggs (No. 19) rank amongst PFF’s top-25 safeties. With the addition of Love and the return of Adams, Seattle's safety unit grows more versatile and experienced. The potential of what Seattle could add to the promising secondary group in April is just one of the talking points surrounding the team's 10 draft picks. Adding and keeping talent in the secondary in free agency makes the coming weeks even more interesting.
