Good afternoon, 12s. Here's a look at what's going on out there and any news you might have missed, about your Seattle Seahawks this week.
The Seahawks will travel to Atlanta for Week 7 to play the Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in hopes of snapping a three-game losing streak. This week, head coach Mike Macdonald, players and coordinators talked about how the mini bye was helpful to take some time away, reevaluate and take accountability.
Seahawks senior reporter John Boyle writes, "When the Seahawks got back together Monday following a weekend off, there wasn't screaming, nor was there finger pointing.
Instead, as players have described this week, the week started with some honest reflection, led by head coach Mike Macdonald, on the team's three recent losses, and a discussion on how to clean up the issues that contributed to three consecutive losses following a 3-0 start to the season.
Said receiver DK Metcalf, "Monday was a very much needed team meeting where Mike just told us the truth of, it's not anything the other teams are doing. We're just hurting ourselves, penalties, giving the ball away, not getting the ball on defense. So he just basically told us the truth of what we need to clean up moving forward. We all took it the right way, and we're ready to finish the season."
Macdonald said the weekend off allowed for a "full digest of where we're at as a football team. We were able to identify as many things as we can on each side of the ball without going crazy—there's only so many things you can get done in a week—but just take it one step at a time."

Hawks Huddle Business of the Week
The **Hawks Huddle** business of this week is Jed's Big Slice
Jed's Big Slice was founded by owner Alex Davis with the vision of giving back to his community. The pizza truck makes their pizza with authentic pizza dough - and serves, to say the least, huge slices! Jed's proudly serves the east side of Tacoma, which is one of the city's most diverse and underserved areas. Alex wants to present an example of success to his community through his entrepreneurship, and illustrate that when you put your mind to it, no idea is too big.
Jed's mission is to feed and help struggling families while encouraging them through a difficult time. Alex believes their partnership with the Seahawks can help them "win" through their connection to the Seahawks fan base, giving them opportunity to spread awareness and create a "different world" for their company.
