Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Tuesday, March 31 – about your Seattle Seahawks:

"Meals Up"

"Meals Up," is the name of the initiative that Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and Ciara have become a part of through a partnership with the private aviation company, Wheels Up. Wilson is an ambassador of Wheels Up, along with other sports stars like professional tennis star Serena Williams and Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt.

The company has 8,000+ members and CEO Kenny Dichter was inspired by all the entrepreneurs around the world giving back during this pandemic. Wilson joined CNBC on Tuesday morning, along with Dichter, to spread the word and share information regarding the new initiative.

"The reality is that a lot of people are facing tough times right now and we're all facing it in different ways," said Wilson. "There is going to be people let go of their jobs, I think about the young kids across the country that may not have a mom or a dad, or their family situation may not be the best financially, and they're going to be looking for food."

In partnership with Wheels Up members, the organization will donate 10 million meals to Feeding America. The 501(c)(3) non-profit distributed 4.2 billion meals in 2019. The organization on average served 40 million people a year and has been working to fight hunger for 40 years.

"Feeding America is such a great program. From 1979, 40 years of doing good in the world and trying to make a difference. That's where we decided to donate a million meals and make a difference there," elaborated Wilson.

"Meals Up; we're excited about the potential of being able to give back and everybody coming together to make a difference."
