Good morning, 12s. Here's a look at what's out there today — Tuesday, November 8 — about your Seattle Seahawks.
The 6-3 Seahawks have been praised for drafting a dynamic offensive tackle duo in rookies Charles Cross and Abe Lucas, and while those two have been great this season, it was veteran guard Damien Lewis who was named to the Pro Football Focus Team of the Week for Week 9.
The former LSU Tiger and 2020 third round selection is credited with allowing just one hit on quarterback Geno Smith in the Seahawks 31-21 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.
Lewis earned the Seahawks' highest-offensive grade (88.8) for Week 9, giving quarterback Geno Smith time in the pocket and creating holes for running back Kenneth Walker III.
The Pro Football Focus team nominates a player at each position on the field for each week, with Lewis selected as the best left guard league-wide in Week 9.

Despite battling with the wear-and-tear of the season, Lewis has been a major-contributor to a Seattle offense ranking fourth in scoring at 26.8 points per game. Seattle's offensive line will gear up to face the defensive front of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10, live from Munich, Germany.
