Good afternoon, 12s. Here's a look at what's out there today – Tuesday, June 14 – about your Seattle Seahawks.

Seattle Seahawks safety Quandre Diggs may be recovering from an injury suffered at the close of the 2021 season, but he's still receiving recognition for his play. Sam Monson of Pro Football Focus ranks Diggs as the No.6 coverage free safety for the upcoming 2022 season.

Diggs recorded a career-high 94 combined tackles in 2021, along with nabbing 5 interceptions for the second-consecutive season (T-4th). Diggs also recorded 7 pass deflections.

Here are the top 10 coverage free safeties according to Monson:

  1. Kevin Byard, Tennessee Titans
  2. Antoine Winfield Jr., Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  3. Marcus Williams, Baltimore Ravens
  4. Jessie Bates III, Cincinnati Bengals
  5. Justin Simmons, Denver Broncos
  6. Quandre Diggs, Seattle Seahawks
  7. Jevon Holland, Miami Dolphins
  8. Minkah Fitzpatrick, Pittsburgh Steelers
  9. Marcus Maye, New Orleans Saints
  10. Devin McCourty, New England Patriots

Diggs is coming off consecutive Pro Bowl selections, and has been looked at as one of the more-balanced safeties in the league. Of the Seahawks 40 forced turnovers over the past two seasons, Diggs has forced 25 percent of them - through the air.
