Wednesday Round-Up: Bobby Wagner Named 2019 PFWA All-NFL Linebacker, Russell Wilson Named All-NFC Quarterback

Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner and quarterback Russell Wilson were selected as the All-NFL linebacker and All-NFC quarterback, respectively.

Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Wednesday, January 15 – about your Seattle Seahawks:

Wagner To All-NFL; Wilson To All-NFC

The Pro Football Writers of America, the official voice of pro football writers, promoting and fighting for access to NFL personnel to best serve the public. Some call it the PFWA.

Every year the PFWA selects players from around the League to create the All-NFL team, as well as All-NFC and All-AFC teams. This year, 17 clubs are represented among the 27 players honored by the PFWA.

A couple of names you may recognize on the list include Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner and quarterback Russell Wilson. Wagner, one of nine repeat selections from the 2018 All-NFL team, was selected as a linebacker for the 2019 All-NFL team. This marks the veteran's fourth-straight season being named to the All-NFL team.

On the other side of the ball, quarterback Russell Wilson was named as the quarterback for the All-NFC team, which also includes Wagner as the middle LB for their defense.
