Good morning, 12s.
Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Wednesday, February 12 – about your Seattle Seahawks:
#Q13HeartChallenge
Valentine's Day isn't the only heart-related movement celebrated in the month of February, as the second month of the year is actually 'Heart Health Month.'
Our broadcast partner Q13 FOX has decided to focus on Heart Health month by starting their own #Q13HeartChallenge. The three-year-old challenge lasts for the entire month of February and is focused on raising awareness for heart health.
Seahawks tight end Jacob Hollister took to Twitter on Tuesday to share his steps from last week. "Let's all take health to Heart encouraging everyone to create a healthy habit [and] drop an unhealthy one," reads Hollister's post.
Spearheaded by Q13's Ali Bradley, the #Q13HealthChallenge includes choosing "something for the entire month that is unique to you". This can be anything from lifting weights to adding more vegetables to your diet.
From there, you share your experience on Twitter and/or Instagram and use the hashtag '#Q13HeartChallenge,' as well as support others on social.
Social Post Of The Day
Today's 'Social Post of the Day' comes from Seahawks tight end Will Dissly, as he reposts an informational video regarding ocean cleanups.
