Good morning, 12s.
Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Wednesday, January 16 – about your Seattle Seahawks:
The Choreography
On Wednesday, the Seattle Seahawks advanced to the third round of NFL.com's 'Touchdown Celebration of the Year.' The wide receiver unit beat out the Minnesota Vikings in the second round—looks like fans enjoy a little more choreography than the Limbo.
The 'Touchdown Celebration of the Year' is an elimination bracket in which the best touchdown celebrations from all 32 teams are matched up against one another. Fans are given a chance to vote for their favorite celebrations in each round to ultimately determine the best celebration of the season. In the third round of the tournament (three of four), the Seahawks are up against the Chicago Bears.
The Seahawks' submission, 'The Choreography,' is a choreographed dance routine that the WOOTS call the 'four heartbeats', which is a nod to 1991 musical drama film The Five Heartbeats.
Be sure to vote for your Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the tournament. Voting for Round 3 closes on January 22.
Social Post Of The Day
Today's 'Social Post of the Day' comes from PFF Seahawks, as they announced that Seahawks defensive tackle Poona Ford ranks first among defensive rookies in their rankings.
