Good afternoon, 12s.
Here's a look at what's out there for today—Wednesday, February 19—about your Seattle Seahawks:
"I guess my references checked out."
Tuesday brought some significant offseason news for the Seahawks, who agreed to terms on a deal with three-time Pro-Bowl tight end Greg Olsen. Not surprisingly, among those taking notice was quarterback Russell Wilson, who now gets to throw to one of the most accomplished pass-catching tight ends in NFL history.
Reacting to the news, Wilson re-surfaced a picture he shared earlier this month of himself and Olsen together at NFL Honors.
Olsen himself, meanwhile, jokes that his "references checked out," referring to picture of Cam Newton whispering something to Wilson at NFL Honors.
Also welcoming Olsen to Seattle was fellow tight end Will Dissly.
Fans were also excited about the news, including former Lake Stevens High School wrestling standout Chris Pratt, AKA, Andy Dwyer in "Parks and Recreation," AKA, Star-Lord in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
