Good afternoon, 12s. Here's a look at what's out there today – Wednesday, June 8 – about your Seattle Seahawks.
The National Football League Players Association released their 2022 Rising Stars list, including Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Kenneth Walker.
Seattle selected Walker with the No.41 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. The former Michigan State Spartan was the 2021 recipient of the Doak Walker award. The NFLPA has compiled data to determine the 10 rookies and veterans poised to make an impact in consumer product sales - such as jerseys. Walker comes in at No. 8 on the list, after rushing for 1,636 yards and 18 touchdowns as the Spartans went 11-2 in 2021.
Walker was one of 42 rookies selected to participate in the NFLPA Rookie Premiere in May, interacting with fans as part of creating his player card for Panini. Walker signed autographs for fans and participated in the annual photoshoot for the players invited.
