Wednesday Round-Up: Seahawks Team Up With Elysian To Sponsor Holiday Party At Plymouth Housing

The Seattle Seahawks and Elysian spent their Friday last week volunteering at one of Plymouth Housing’s holiday parties.

Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Wednesday, December 18 – about your Seattle Seahawks:

Spreading Holiday Cheer

On Friday, December 13, the Seattle Seahawks and Elysian Brewing partnered up for a 'Seahawks Huddle For 100' event to sponsor the Plymouth Housing Holiday Party. Plymouth Housing is a local nonprofit that provides adults experiencing chronic homelessness with permanent housing and opportunities to stabilize and improve their lives.

At the holiday party, staff volunteers from both organizations served food, provided gift bags filled with beanies, mittens, and cold weather gear, and played Bingo with the residents to share in some holiday cheer.

Seahawks and Elysian also partner with Plymouth Housing throughout the year with their collaboration on a Seahawks-themed pale ale, 'The Noise,' which is sold at Elysian breweries, CenturyLink Field, and local grocery stores. A portion of net proceeds from every can and pint sold supports the cause to eliminate homelessness with Plymouth Housing.

2020 Pro Bowl Starters: Wagner & Wilson

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson and LB Bobby Wagner were selected as starters for the 2020 NFL Pro Bowl. In addition to Wilson and Wagner, the Seahawks also had seven players named as alternates to the Pro Bowl: LT Duane Brown, RB Chris Carson, DE Jadeveon Clowney, S Quandre Diggs, CB Shaquill Griffin, G Mike Iupati, and WR Tyler Lockett.

Today's 'Social Post of the Day' comes from our official Twitter account, as we tweet out a few photos from Ashton Vinson, a 15-year-old Make-A-Wish kid, visiting walk thru in Charlotte last weekend.
