In the Week 7 win against the Cardinals, Smith-Njigba was the Seahawks' leading receiver with 63 yards on 4 receptions and his first NFL touchdown.

Smith-Njigba kept the momentum going into Week 8 where he scored the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds to secure the win over the Browns.

_"I feel like for him and this offense, obviously they have Tyler Lockett, they have DK Metcalf but adding him as a third guy and Geno Smith starting to build trust with him, I feel like he's going to have a coming out party where he has a 100-yard game, maybe a multiple touchdown game." _

Following the win over the Browns, Seahawks tight end Noah Fant spoke to what they already knew about Smith-Njigba.

Fant said, "He is a great kid, he can be something very special. We notice that, but hopefully he can get some more opportunities as we keep going."

The Seahawks are seeing more and more production from the rookie and McCourty says Smith-Njigba's time is coming soon.
