Good morning, 12s.
Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today - Thursday, November 1 - about your Seattle Seahawks:
Wagner, McDougald Highlighted By PFF
The 2018 NFL season is eight weeks old, and even though the 4-3 Seahawks have played just seven games thanks to a Week 7 bye, it's widely considered the season's midway point across the league. With that in mind, many NFL sites are doling out midseason awards (Seahawks.com will have midseason honors available next week, when the club has eight of its 16 games under its belt). Pro Football Focus released its list of midseason All-Pros earlier this week, and its team includes Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner, who last weekend against Detroit passed Keith Butler for second-place on Seattle's all-time tackles list with 815 for his career. On Wagner's play in 2018, PFF writes:
Wagner's tackling ability has reached all-time great status at this point. He hasn't missed a single one on 42 attempts this season. If we keep going back over the past year and a half, Wagner has missed all of three tackles on his last 192 attempts. And all three of those came after he returned from an injury late last season.
Seattle's Bradley McDougald, meanwhile, earned honorable mention for the safety spot on PFF's midseason All-Pro team.
