Good morning, 12s. Here's a look at what's out there today — Tuesday, March 29 — about your Seattle Seahawks.

Bumpus: Drew Lock Could Have High Ceiling As Seahawks' QB

Following the massive Russell Wilson trade that went down earlier this month, the only quarterbacks the Seahawks currently have on the roster are third-year man Jacob Eason, a local product of Lake Stevens., WA. and the University of Washington, and Drew Lock, whom the Seahawks acquired in exchange for Wilson with the Broncos.

Some have speculated that the Seahawks will target a quarterback in next month's NFL draft, such as Liberty’s Malik Willis, or adding a veteran quarterback could be in the mix.

Others, like former Seahawks wide receiver and current Seattle Sports radio analyst Michael Bumpus, believe that the Seahawks have full faith in their newly acquired quarterback from Denver. Over the weekend, Bumpus spoke about why he believes Lock could have as high a ceiling as any other player in the Seahawks' quarterback room.

"The highest ceiling goes to Drew Lock," Bumpus said. "It goes to Drew Lock because we don't really know what he can do. We've seen Geno [Smith]. It's Drew Lock.

""If given an opportunity, he might be able to play here," Bumpus added. "I'm not saying he's gonna show up and save the organization and be the greatest thing, I just don't know what the kid can do. So that's why I'm giving him the ceiling because I've seen all these other guys. I just don't know about Drew."

In four years at Missouri, Lock compiled 12,193 passing yards and 99 touchdowns, good for third all-time in SEC history. In 21 starts with the Broncos, Lock has posted an 8-13 record with 25 touchdowns and 20 interceptions for a passer rating of 79.3.
