Two Seahawks Named to Pete Prisco's Top-100 NFL Players list for Upcoming 2023 Season

The Seattle Seahawks retooled through free agency and the draft, in preparation for a championship run in 2023. Ahead of the season, CBS Sports analyst Pete Prisco released his annual Top-100 NFL Player rankings last week, with two Seahawks making the list.

Ole Miss alum DK Metcalf notched a career-high 90 receptions in 2022, recording his second 1,000 yard season (1,048) of his career. Metcalf nabbed 6 receiving touchdowns on Seattle's way to an NFC Wild Card berth, notching the fourth-consecutive season of Metcalf catching more than 5 scores. Prisco breaks down Metcalf's selection as Seattle's only offensive player on the list.

He had a career-best 90 catches last season, but his per-catch average went down. He did have six touchdown receptions.

In cornerback Riq Woolen's rookie campaign, the fifth-round selection quickly became a name to know after tying for the league-lead in interceptions (6) in 2022. In addition to nabbing six picks, Woolen tied for No.4 league-wide in pass deflections with 16. Prisco breaks down why the University of Texas-San Antonio alum deserved a spot on the list after just one season.

86. Riq Woolen

As a rookie, he was a top corner who has the tools to be even higher on this list next year. He is a big, long corner who can cover.
