Good morning, 12s.
Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today - Tuesday, January 22 - about your Seattle Seahawks:
Watch: Madden 19 Seahawks Championship
Four of the top Madden 19 competitors from around the Pacific Northwest will compete in a Seahawks Championship e-sports event on Tuesday in Las Vegas, where Michael Clark (Kmike), Shay Kivlen (Young_Kiv), George Douglas (Big George), and Daniel Mycroft (DCroft) will square off for the world to see via streams on Seahawks Facebook and YouTube and EA Sports Madden NFL's Twitch channel and Mixer channel. The stream starts at 6 p.m. PT.
In recent years, the Seahawks have teamed up with EA Sports to host live Madden events in the Seattle area, first at the Museum of Pop Culture and later at CenturyLink Field Event Center. Clark (Kmike) earned the title of Madden 17 and Madden 18 Seahawks Champion at those events, while Kivlen (Young_Kiv) received runner-up on each occasion. This year's Madden Seahawks Championship could feature a potential rematch between the two top gamers, who have each enjoyed their fair share of success outside of Madden Seahawks Championship events, with Kmike owning a Club Series title to his name and Young_Kiv winning the Madden Bowl last year.
The winner of the Madden 19 Seahawks Championship will advance to the club championship series to face Madden champions from the league's 31 other NFL teams for a chance to secure a $100,000 top prize.
