The team at One Love Foundation held their Move For Love 5k Walk/Run this weekend, partnering with the Seahawks at Lumen Field. Team president Chuck Arnold, a longtime supporter of the organization, greeted participants and gave a welcome speech before the festivities began.
One Love's mission to help educate young people about healthy and unhealthy relationships has been supported by the Seahawks as part of their broader community efforts focused on Youth Empowerment. The Seahawks Women's Association is a sponsor of the foundation, and has hosted several events over the years, such as a Lip Sync For Love at the Museum of Pop Culture.
Arnold has also helped raise awareness of One Love during the annual My Cause My Cleats game.
By all accounts, this weekend's 5K was yet another great event, with participants and supporters from all over came out in full support of the walk/run, including the University of Washington football team and Seattle Seawolves Rugby team.
