Good morning, 12s.
Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Tuesday, December 10 – about your Seattle Seahawks:
New Era Meets Tyler Lockett
There's no better place to spend your Monday evening after a Seahawks gameday than at CenturyLink Field's very own Pro Shop listening to Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett answer a few questions.
The veteran wide receiver sat on stage in front of a crowd of roughly 50 people, discussing several topics with radio host Gee Scott including his poetry, his experience playing for Seattle, and his New Era signature cap collection.
Lockett's worked with New Ear to release a new line of hats, some with a sleek black design and Action Green accents, and others with a clean white-colored look. In addition to the stylish look of the lid line, 12% of all proceeds from Lockett's line will go to his 'Light It Up Foundation,' which benefits homelessness, youth, and the underprivileged.
After the Q&A, attendees of the event were treated to a trivia contest in which the winner won one of Tyler's signature caps. Blue Thunder and Blitz were also hanging out to welcome and interact with the guests in attendance.
Seahawks partner New Era also took the opportunity to introduce their Meet & Greet sweepstakes winner to Lockett, where he took the lucky winner on a tour of the stadium and talked to them about his gameday preparation, routines, and favorites memories on the team.
The winner was also awarded a prize package courtesy of New Era that included a Tyler Lockett jersey, New Era caps and beanies, and other items to get them ready for gameday. Oh, and I can't forget, Lockett even helped them come up with their own touchdown dance. Who's better to learn from than the TD-celebration master himself?
