The Seahawks hit the road for the second consecutive week as they get set to take on the San Francisco 49ers in a pivotal division matchup at Levi's Stadium on Sunday, December 10. Click here to learn how to watch, listen, and stream the action.

Friday Injury Report

The Seahawks have seven players officially listed as questionable for Sunday's division showdown against the 49ers including Geno Smith. Smith was added to the injury report on Thursday afternoon with a groin injury that limited him in practice on Thursday and kept him out on Friday. "He just tweaked his groin a little bit yesterday. He kind of stumbled over somebody," said head coach Pete Carroll. As for whether he will start on Sunday, he could be a game time decision. "Yeah, we're going to wait and see," said coach Carroll when asked if they will wait until pregame warmups to make a decision on his game status.

Running backs Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet are both questionable after missing the first practice of the week and being limited in the following two this week. Walker has not played since exiting the loss against the Rams in Week 11 with an oblique injury while Charbonnet suffered a bruised knee last Thursday against Dallas. "Both of those guys looked pretty good. We have to see what happens tomorrow, see how they feel and all of that, but both guys worked today," said coach Carroll when asked about the status of the team's top two leading rushers.

Three starters on the defensive side of the ball are questionable as Jarran Reed, Jordyn Brooks and Tre Brown have been dealing with lower body injuries. Brooks suffered an ankle injury in the first half of the Dallas game and wasn't able to return. He missed the first two practices of the week but was able to return to the field on Friday. As for his status on Sunday, Brooks is another player that will need as much time as possible leading up to gameday to make a decision. Despite being questionable, Jarran Reed should be available to play on Sunday barring any setbacks.

The 49ers ruled three players out of Sunday's contest versus the Seahawks including defensive lineman Arik Armstead who didn't practice all week due to foot/knee injury.

Thursday Injury Report

The list of players held out of practice was cut in half as there were only three players that did not participate in practice on Thursday after six players missed Wednesday's practice. Linebacker Jordyn Brooks and cornerback Tre Brown remained out for the second consecutive day because of lower body injuries. Brooks suffered an ankle injury early in the Dallas game and was unable to return. Joining them as a non-participant in practice today was wide receiver Dee Eskridge who suffered a rib injury that forced him to miss the prime-time matchup against Dallas. Eskridge was a full participant in Wednesday's practice but was unable to practice on Thursday.

Among the players that returned to practice on Thursday were running backs Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet. Both players were limited participants and are making solid progress towards returning to game action but their status for Sunday is still unclear.

On the defensive side of the ball, Leonard Williams and Jamal Adams missed practice on Wednesday and returned as limited participants on Thursday. The defensive lineman acquired before the trade deadline has been dealing with an ankle injury in the past couple of weeks but has not missed any game time. Adams was forced to miss the Week 11 loss to the Rams with a knee injury but was able to return for the past two games.

Quarterback Geno Smith was added to the injury report today and is listed with a groin injury. Smith injured his right elbow in the Week 11 matchup with the Rams but has started both games since.

The 49ers' injury report for Thursday was very similar to Wednesday's as the six players who missed practice on Wednesday remained out on Thursday. The only difference is that wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud was held out of practice today after being limited on Wednesday with a rib injury.

Wednesday Injury Report

The Seahawks returned to practice on Wednesday after getting a few extra days of rest due to playing last Thursday night and had six players absent from practice. Both running backs Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet were held out on Wednesday due to injuries. Walker has been dealing with an oblique injury that he suffered early in the Week 11 loss to the Rams and has not played since while Charbonnet injured his knee against the Cowboys. While the team's top two leading rushers missed practice, head coach Pete Carroll was optimistic about their status going forward.

"Kenny (Walker III) ran around pretty well in walkthrough. It was exciting to see him out there moving around. He was flying around," said coach Carroll. "We have to make sure we get him through the week and see what happens. We don't know." Similarly, Charbonnet didn't practice today but is making progress toward playing on Sunday.  "He was out there moving around today, so that's a really good sign," coach Carroll said. "He had a bruised knee, he did not have a knee injury. It's uncomfortable, it's going to hurt like crazy if he lands on it against during the week of preparation and all, but by the end of the week he should have a chance to be pretty good."

Linebacker Jordyn Brooks exited the Week 13 game in Dallas with an ankle injury that could force him to miss some time. "Jordyn can't do anything yet," said coach Carroll. The good news is that Brooks doesn't have a high ankle sprain so it may not cause him to miss a lot of game action if he has to at all. Also missing practice were Jamal Adams (knee), Tre Brown (heel) and Leonard Williams (ankle). Williams was questionable going into Week 13 with the same injury but was able to play against Dallas.

Offensive linemen Abraham Lucas, Anthony Bradford and Evan Brown were all limited in practice to start the week. Lucas made his return from the injured reserve last week against Dallas and made it through the game without suffering any setbacks. "He felt pretty good," Carroll said. "I just talked to him about it. He felt pretty good about it. Kind of as expected, a little sore, but the break was perfect for him to get a couple of days, so he's ready to go." Bradford would be in line to start at guard if he is available to play as Phil Haynes was put on the injured reserve last week.

Just like the Seahawks, the 49ers also had six players miss Wednesday's practice including defensive lineman Arik Armstead and left tackle Trent Williams. Armstead is dealing a foot/knee injury while Williams was held out for rest.
